"Spy Kids: Mission Critical"

Review of "Spy Kids: Mission Critical" 4/25/18 by Eva Diaz airs on Netflix.

This is an animated series based on the "Spy Kids" movie franchise, which was very popular. It starred Antonio Banderas.  In this animated version, Carmen and Juni Cortez must help their parents Grogorio and Ingrid Cortez by training a team of spy kids to take on a supervillain named Golden Brain. Golden Brain knows all the grown-up spies, but they feel that he won't be expecting a team of kids.

This show has great animation and a lot of action in it.  It may not be good for kids with a short attention span because I think it's a bit long for a cartoon. I like it because it does stay true to the movie series.  I am so happy that Netflix has great animated shows for kids and adults. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

MORE INFORMATION:

From producer Bob Weinstein comes an animated adventure comedy series based on the beloved family film franchise, Spy Kids. The show follows brother and sister team Juni and Carmen Cortez as they attend Spy Kids Academy, a top secret spy school for kid agents. When a new counter-spy agency threatens the safety of the world, it will be up to junior spies Juni and Carmen to train and lead a team of fellow Spy Kids cadets against the forces of S.W.A.M.P. (Sinister Wrongdoers Against Mankind's Preservation) and their diabolical leader, Golden Brain. The Mission Critical team may not be ready, but they are the only ones to call when grown-up spies canít do the job! Featuring FM DeMarco of Netflix original series Dragons: Race to the Edge as head writer, Spy Kids: Mission Critical will be available to Netflix members worldwide in 2018.
