Seth Green and Bubba the Bear

Review of "Bobcat Goldthwait's Misfits & Monsters" 7/15/18 by Suzanne
airs Wednesdays 10/9c on truTV

This is a really unusual show. It's not my kind of show, but I think most people would probably like it. It's a very bizarre anthology show. In the first episode, Seth Green stars as a voice actor who meets the actual cartoon bear that he's voicing. The bear is violent and foul-mouthed. It turns more horrible from there. Each episode is different, like "Room 104" on HBO or "Twilight Zone."

I'm surprised that this is on truTV because I think it's good enough for better networks. I hope it does well because it's very entertaining and original.

MORE INFORMATION:

From the twisted mind of celebrated auteur Bobcat Goldthwait, truTV’s scripted anthology series Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits & Monsters mashes up wildly different genres to tell suspenseful stories with funny, imaginative twists. Each distinct episode turns familiar tropes inside out to create a curated and eclectic collection of stories filled with equal parts nostalgia and modern satire. Guest stars throughout the eight-episode first season include Michael Ian Black, Bridget Everett, Dave Foley, Seth Green, Melissa Joan Hart, David Koechner, Danny Pudi and more.
