I thought this was a series, but it's actually a movie.
It's a fake documentary, like "This Is Spinal Tap." It's
about drugged-up cyclists racing in the Tour de France, but
really, it's just a great spoof of all of the ESPN and other
sports documentaries. They do a wonderful job with it. I've
seen a lot of those because my husband is a big sports fan.
This is a priceless satire. The cast is great. It's narrated
by Jon Hamm ("Mad Men") and stars Andy Samberg, James
Marsden, Will Forte, Orlando Bloom, John Cena, Daveed Diggs,
Freddie Highmore, and many others. It's got some very fun
appearances from Kevin Bacon, Phylicia Rashad, Mike Tyson,
Danny Glover, Jeff Goldblum, Lance Armstrong, and Dolph
It's pretty funny and worth watching. Too
bad it's not a series! I would watch it regularly.
Apparently it's a follow-up to another mockumentary written
and directed by the same team, "7 Days in Hell." I'm going
to have to go find that one and watch it, too!
