Review of "I'm
Sorry" 7/15/17 by

Airs Wednesdays 10/9c on truTV
This is a pretty funny suburban comedy. Andrea Savage
plays a comedian who's also a wife and mom. I know that
sounds boring, but it's just about this woman, her husband,
her daughter, and their life. I think most people can relate
to it, especially women. The characters in it are funny yet
very real. They're not "wacky" or quirky. They're just real
people with a lot of humor, and funny things happen. As they
like to say in the entertainment industry, the humor is
organic.
You should check it out to see if you think
it's funny, too. Humor is so subjective! I enjoyed watching
the first episode a lot and will probably watch more if I
have time. I don't know why this show is on truTV instead
of, say, CBS, but I'm glad someone is showing it.
MORE INFORMATION:
Created by and starring Andrea Savage (Veep,
Episodes, Sleeping with Other People), this
half-hour scripted series follows seemingly confident comedy
writer, wife and mom Andrea (played by Savage), who
comically exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through
unexpected life situations. Joining Savage in the first
season are series regulars Tom Everett Scott (Southland)
as Andrea's straitlaced husband, Mike; and newcomer Olive
Petrucci as Andrea and Mike's inquisitive daughter, Amelia.
