Hooten and the Lady

Review of "Hooten and the Lady" 7/15/17 by Suzanne
Airs Thursdays 9/8c on The CW

This is a new show for us in the U.S., but it's already aired in Britain. It's a fun Indiana-Jones-like show about Lady Alex (Ophelia Lovibond, "Elementary"), who works for the British Museum but likes to go out and find adventures and historical treasures. She runs into Hooten (Michael Landes), a rough-but-kind American who helps her out, hiding his feelings with jokes and rudeness. It's a very fun Summer show.

In the first episode, they find the lost city of El Dorado, but then they lose it again! There's a lot of action, and sexual tension between the leads, and fun. It reminds me of shows like "The Librarians" and "Warehouse 13." Check it out!

Two treasure hunters with opposing sensibilities meet in the Amazon jungle and form an unlikely partnership as they travel the globe in pursuit of hidden treasures. Hooten is a smooth-talking yet foolhardy lone wolf, who often finds himself in sticky situations. Lady Alexandra is a straight-laced museum curator with an adventurous side, eager to venture to uncharted lands. They form an unlikely partnership, but are drawn together by expediency, yearning for danger and love of legendary artifacts.

We need more episode guide recap writers, article writers, MS FrontPage and Web Expression users, graphics designers, and more, so please email us if you can help out!  More volunteers always needed!  Thanks!
