Review of "Guerilla" 5/25/17 by Suzanne
Airs on Showtime

This was a short series on Showtime. I only saw the first episode because I don't get Showtime. They had a free preview, thankfully. It's a pretty good that lets you in on how the British acted in London towards black people back in the 1970's.

The writing and acting are very good. I had a hard time believing that these people could break someone out of prison, but otherwise it was very well done. You should watch in on their site if you have Showtime and somehow missed it. I don't think they've announced yet if there will be a second season.

Set against the backdrop of one of the most explosive times in U.K. history, Guerilla tells the story of a politically active couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London. This six-part limited series is from Academy AwardŽ-winner John Ridley, and stars Freida Pinto, Babou Ceesay and Idris Elba.

We need more episode guide recap writers, article writers, MS FrontPage and Web Expression users, graphics designers, and more, so please email us if you can help out!  More volunteers always needed!  Thanks!
