Danger and Eggs

Review of "Danger & Eggs" 7/7/17 by Suzanne
Airs Mondays 10/9c on ABC

This is a kids' show about an egg, Phillip, and his best friend, a girl named D.D. Danger. D.D. likes taking risks, just like her dad, who seems to be a sort of Evel Knievel-type that's always injured.  Phillilp is very cautious. So of course, D.D. is always dragging him into trouble. It's very cute. I think kids will like it. It's very fast-paced.

I'm not a big fan of that kind of animation (reminds of some of the 90's cartoons), but it works for this type of animated comedy.  In the first episode, D.D. wants to do a daring video stunt in the park, in an old closed-down amusement park area that's scheduled to be demolished.

Danger & Eggs follows the endless adventures of a fearless, teal-haired girl named D.D. Danger (voiced by SNL's Aidy Bryant) and her ever cautious best friend, a giant talking egg named Phillip. Together, join this buddy system as they explore an underground laboratory, meet a tech-savvy raccoon, and find moments of heart in the smallest bite of broccoli.
