Game" review by

I was looking forward to watching this because the original
version of the show was one of my favorite game shows. I
like it because it had the feel of the orignal show; the new
version didn't change any of the rules or anything. (If you
want to watch the original show, you can watch it on GSN).
The game is played this way: a panel of famous people are
asked questions (usually with a fill-in-the-blanks option),
and they try to match their answers with the answers of
contestants on the show, so that the contestants can have a
chance at winning money.
Alec Baldwin is the host of
the show, and at times he seems nervous and uncomfortable as
the host, perhaps because he has never hosted a game show
before. That tends to take away from the fun of the show,
for me. The panelists are really funny and are the focus of
the show, making jokes as they give their answers, and
generally making the show fun to watch. I enjoyed watching
it; again, the only weak link is Alec Baldwin.
Hopefully he willl become more comfortable in his role as
host of the show.
I think this is more of an adult
game show, more then it is for children. Parents
should watch it first to see if they could watch it with
their older teenagers because they do have a lot of sexual
jokes, and jokes with double meanings (just like the old one
did, only more so because it's not 1976 any more). I give
this show 4 out of 5 stars.
