I wasn't expecting this to be funny, but it actually was. I
only watched the pilot because I don't get Showtime, only
HBO. Showtime put the first episode on their site. I
did enjoy it. It's the kind of comedy that gets funnier as
it goes along. By the end, I was really laughing.
Airs Saturdays, 9:30pm on Showtime
looks like a reality show, but it's not. It's a scripted
comedy. Andrew Dice Clay plays himself, similar to "Curb
Your Enthusiasm" or "Episodes." He's not afraid to
make fun of itself as a washed-up comedian who thinks way
too highly of himself and isn't too bright, yet he's a good

Clay's stand-up actor on cable, I thought it was kind of
funny, in a really offensive way (like listening to Howard
Stern, but maybe with more racism). But then he hosted
Saturday Night Live and he was awful, so I just dismissed
him as someone who's only funny because he's using a lot of
four-letter words and saying shocking things.
can say I was wrong because he's very funny in this show.
It's not like "Seinfeld," or "Louie," either. He doesn't do
any of his act. He just plays himself as a regular guy,
living in Las Vegas with his wife, Carmen (played by Natasha
Leggero) and his friend, Milkshake (played by Kevin
Corrigan). But it works and it's funny. Check it out!
