Crowded cast

"Crowded" review by Suzanne 3/15/16
Airs
Tuesdays on NBC

This show is pretty funny, but it's not so funny that I'll probably go out of my way to watch it. It's probably something that should have aired in the Summer, when there's less competition. I like the actors in it and it makes me laugh, for the most part.  Some of the pilot was a little forced, but it got better.

I really wish they would work harder on making shows very funny, like they used to with shows like "Frasier" and "Seinfeld." It seems that nowadays they either have these type of lukewarm comedies or they just have a bunch of hyper, frenzied annoying people.  They should also give shows more time to find their audience. People are so afraid to get into a show that they think might be canceled.

Give this one a shot and you might like it.

MORE INFORMATION:

From the executive producers of “Hot in Cleveland” and “Grimm” comes this very timely comedy that proves life is crazy with a full house, especially the second time around.

After 20 years of parenting, empty nesters Mike (Patrick Warburton, “Seinfeld”) and Martina (Carrie Preston, “True Blood”) are finally reclaiming their wild side. But when both of their two grown daughters (Miranda Cosgrove, “iCarly,” and Mia Serafino, “Shameless”) unexpectedly move back in and Mike’s parents (Stacy Keach, “NCIS: New Orleans,” and Carlease Burke, “Switched at Birth”) scratch their plans to spend their golden years in Florida, their roost is full again.

Suzanne Martin serves as writer and executive producer. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and James Burrows also executive produce. “Crowded” is produced by Universal Television and Hazy Mills Productions.
