TV Show Reviews
Up Call" review by Suzanne

I don't watch reality shows, but if I did, this would be
one I'd definitely watch. It's very uplifting and positive.
The Rock and his friends find some person who's life
isn't going very well, but who shows promise, and wants to
change their life. In the first episode, it was a young man
in his 20's who was a high school drop-out and was going
nowhere, taking drugs, and almost homeless (his mom is in
jail). He wanted to be a MMA Fighter, so they got him to
train and turn his life around, and then got him into this
program for fighters. It was very touching.
The second episode was about a really overweight high
school football coach. The Rock got the guy to exercise and
eat right, with the help of his family and friends.
You get the idea... anyway, it's an easy show to watch
and makes you feel good about people. If you have any of the
same issues, it really makes you think twice about them. I
was already planning to lose weight this year, but watching
these episodes made me even more determined to do it. It's
great if a TV show can actually change your life. Thanks,
Rock and TNT!
