"Haven" review by Suzanne
Premieres September 11 on Syfy
The show is returning soon, and I'm really looking
forward to it! Syfy sent me the premiere episode, and it's a
doozy. Like all of the Haven episodes, it takes you on a
The major characters try to figure out what's happened
when they're booted out of the lighthouse. Duke searches for
Jennifer. Audrey is Mara. Nathan keeps searching for Mara
after she handcuffs him to a post! She seems to enjoy being
evil as she runs around town, looking for a way to bring
back William, and torturing and shooting people. Everyone's
looking for answers!
A horrific new Trouble surfaces amidst all of this
chasing around, and Dave is in the hospital, having strange
dreams about the door to the other world. Poor Nathan is so
lovesick it almost hurts to see him. As a long-time fan of
the show, and of their romance, I hope they end things
happily this year! I'm so sad that this is their last
season. It's such a good show.
Honestly, I don't think that Emily Rose gets the praise
she deserves for her multiple roles. She's just as good as
I hope they explain all this year, like whether the
Troubles are supernatural or alien or what! I'm sure that
however they end it, it will be exciting and shocking. Like
usual. Make sure you tune in....
I do have to say that I'm not too thrilled with the
ending of the episode, but I have confidence that things
will turn out better in the second episode... they're
masters of the jaw-dropping ending.

Season 5 picks up immediately

which Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant), Duke Crocker (Eric
Balfour) and Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) finally succeeded in
banishing the destructive Troublemaker William (Colin
Ferguson) from their lives.
In the season 5 premiere
episode, titled “See No Evil,” they learn that the victory
is fleeting. Duke is now a ticking time bomb, at death’s
door and fighting to contain all the Troubles within him,
while Nathan faces his greatest fear that Audrey — the woman
he’s fought so desperately to save — may be gone forever.
Making matters worse, Haven
is hit by a strange new Trouble that’s supernaturally
silencing town denizens.
