"Galavant" review by Suzanne 1/13/15
Airs Sundays 8/7c

I knew I would love this show as soon as I saw the first preview. It has a lot of my favorite things: comedy, music, and medieval fantasy.  Also, Timothy Omundsen is always wonderful (you may know him from USA's "Psych"). I wish this were a full series, but so far it's just a 4-week miniseries. So far I've really enjoyed it.

The music is good, and fun, and very creative.  If you like other musical shows like "Nashville" or "Glee," you might like this one. The music is by really talented and experienced movie and theater composers. It's a fun fairy-tale-like fantasy, like Once Upon a Time or the movie "The Princess Bride." It reminds me, in part, of the old show "When Things Were Rotten", back in the 70's. However, it's much funnier than that show.

Make sure you watch it!
