great White Collar stars!

"White Collar" review by Suzanne
new episodes Jan. 22 Tuesdays 10/9c on USA Network

This has always been one of my favorite shows, since its start. The writers always keep things interesting. There is plenty of story, romance, fun, excitement, adventure, relationships, characters, and intrigue - what more could you want? Oh, yes, and very sexy men.

Back in September, we learned that "Sam" is really Neal's father, James Bennett. This first episode "Family Business" is great because we finally get to see Neal confront him and find out the details. Of course, there's a lot more than that in this episode. There's the usual fun stuff with Neal doing his con artist thing when he pretends to be a guy who fakes expensive liquor for a living, to take down a very bad guy. There are also nice family moments with Peter and Elizabeth, and of course great scenes with Mozzie. Mozzie gets to do some glass-blowing! I'm not kidding. Make sure you tune it because it's a good episode for this wonderful show to return on.

UPDATE: I hope you get a chance to see this week's "White Collar" season finale because it's great. This show always has some fun cliffhangers every season or half-season. You think things are going along nicely, and then BOOM! There are lots of twists and turns, things don't go as expected, and then there are one or two huge surprises and shocks that leave you hanging there with your jaw dropped to the floor!

Let's just say that one person is killed, another person turns out to be a bad person, and a third person gets arrested. One of these things, I'm not very happy about. I can't really explain it, but I am very disappointed in this one character! There is one truly great romantic scene, too.

We get to see all our favorites, including a brief sighting of Diahann Carroll! I just wish it didn't mean we wouldn't have the show for many months. I always hate to see it go.

Returning after the shocking of Neal's (Matt Bomer) father's identity (guest star Treat Williams) in the mid-season finale, WHITE COLLAR premieres its winter return with six gripping new episodes on Tuesday, January 22 at 10/9c. In the fourth season's exciting final episodes, Neal continues to discover secrets of his past, with the help of Peter (Tim DeKay) and Mozzie (Willie Garson). As they get closer to discovering the truth of his father's crimes, an urgent plea from Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) forces Neal to exclude Peter and the FBI from his plans.  The series also stars Sharif Atkins, Marsha Thomason and Hilarie Burton. Guest stars include Jackson Rathbone ("Twilight"), Jessica McNamee ("The Vow"), Titus Welliver ("The Town"), Emily Procter ("CSI: Miami"), Bill Bellamy ("Any Given Sunday"), Scott Evans ("One Life to Live"), Reed Diamond ("Moneyball") and James Rebhorn ("Homeland").

MID-SEASON PREMIERE "Family Business" Tuesday January 22 at 10/9c

In this mid-season premiere, Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) attempt to find the truth behind Neal's father's crime.  In doing so, Neal must go undercover into the world of counterfeit whiskey to take down a high level member of the Irish mob.

In this season finale, Neal (Matt Bomer) and Peter (Tim DeKay) are one heist away from retrieving the evidence box hidden inside the Empire State Building. Meanwhile, Senator Pratt (guest star Titus Welliver) enlisted a small army of FBI agents to find the box before Neal.

Guest stars: Diahann Caroll, Hilarie Burton, Jim Rebhorn, Titus Welliver and Emily Procter
