"Rizzoli & Isles" review by Suzanne
Winter episodes return Tuesday, November 27 at 9 p.m. on TNT

TNT sent me two upcoming episodes, "Class Action Satisfaction" airing November 27th, and "Love the Way You Lie", airing December 4th. I enjoyed them both. I always love this show. It has just the right balance of fun and lightness, as well as sometimes some really good, heavy drama. The characters are great - not just Jane and Maura, but all of their family members, and the police they work with. These two episodes are fairly fun.

Jane's family has to decide what to do with Tommy's baby (since his mom left the baby on his doorstep). You might be surprised how it turns out.  In one episode, Jane's mom, Angela, serves a customer at the Division 1 Cafe that keels over and dies.  Their investigation leads to Korsak's first ex-wife! Also, we see how the romance between Angela and Captain Cavenaugh is going. Another episode features Frost prominently as he is led back to an old murder case that ties in with a current case of murder/suicide.  It is done very well.

I hope you watch and enjoy the episodes! You don't want to miss them.

America's Favorite Crime-Solving Duo Returns
In Five All-New Episodes of TNTís Hit Series Rizzoli & Isles,
Starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander

Winter Episodes Begin Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

This winter, television's top crime-solving duo is back with more drama than ever as TNTís Rizzoli & Isles returns with five all-new episodes. Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander star in the chart-busting series that has averaged nearly 8 million viewers in its third season. Rizzoli & Isles is set to begin its winter run Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by an all-new episode of TNT's Leverage.
Based on characters created by best-selling crime novelist Tess Gerritsen, Rizzoli & Isles stars Harmon as Jane Rizzoli, a tough-as-nails Boston police detective, and Alexander as Maura Isles, a smart, impeccably dressed medical examiner from a privileged background. Despite being complete opposites, the two women share an offbeat chemistry and strong working relationship that lets them solve complex murder mysteries in the city of Boston.
As Rizzoli & Isles' summer season came to an end, Jane saved Maura from becoming a victim of an unexpected serial killer (guest star Eddie Cibrian). Janeís younger brother, the loveable screw-up, Tommy (guest star Colin Egglesfield) returned to find out he might be a dad, and Lydia (guest star Alexandra Holden) abandoned her newborn baby on Jane's front porch.
This winter, Jane and Maura will investigate a number of complex and troublesome crimes, including the mysterious death of a man dining at the Division 1 cafť, the apparent suicide of a famous young writer and the brutal stabbing of a former college football player.
Rizzoli  & Isles also stars Lorraine Bracco as Angela, Jane's meddling mother; Lee Thompson Young as Detective Barry Frost, Jane's squeamish, computer-savvy partner; Bruce McGill as Sgt. Detective Vince Korsak, Janeís steady old-school Homicide Squad teammate; Jordan Bridges as Janeís brother, Frankie Jr., who dreams of becoming a detective like his sister; and Brian Goodman as Lt. Detective Sean Cavanaugh, the head of the Boston Police Detective department.
After scoring a record-breaking premiere in summer 2010, Rizzoli & Isles has since ranked among basic cable's top-rated series for each of its three seasons. The show finished in first place in summer 2010 and summer 2011. The show averaged more than 7.9 million viewers this summer to rank third behind TNT's The Closer and Major Crimes among cable's top summer series. Rizzoli & Isles also ranked among basic cable's Top 5 original series this summer among adults 25-54 (2.9 million).
Rizzoli & Isles comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television and is executive-produced by Janet Tamaro of Hurdler Productions and Bill Haber of Ostar Productions. Michael Katleman also serves as an executive producer. The series was developed for television by Janet Tamaro, who has earned a Gracie Allen Award from the alliance for Women in Media Foundation, a Women's Image Network (WIN) Award and Prevention magazine's Healthy TV Award for her work on the show.
