Primetime Show Reviews
review by Suzanne
Premiere's Tuesday, July 19 at 10pm/9c on Lifetime
This is just sad to watch. Hef is a great man in history, but
he's just so old now. It's kind of painful to watch him, especially when he's
with his bride-to-be, who looks more like his great-grand-daughter.
I'm not a big fan of reality shows. They are not "real". I always assume the
whole thing is staged, and then, why bother watching something that is all
ad-libbed but fake? I just don't get it.
If this is real, then it's pathetic. Hugh Hefner gets engaged to this young
blonde beautiful woman, and we watch them plan their wedding, and their future
together. They talk about how great they both are, but then she backs out of the
wedding at the last minute. What is the point? If you know, please tell me.
Apparently this young woman doesn't realize that Hugh Hefner is all about sex
with lots of young women. Duh.
It's not like watching a train wreck. It's more like watching a really boring
train crash into a retirement home. It's sad and awful.
Thankfully this is just a movie and not a whole series. There are a lot of
beautiful young women, so if that's your thing, maybe you will like it. They
don't get naked, though, so it may not matter.
