Premieres Saturday, January 21 at 8/7c on Lifetime
I don't follow most news stories, so I had not really hard of
Drew Peterson before this movie. If you are like me, you don't know that
he is a midwestern cop accused of killing two of his wives. He somehow gets
these gullible young women to marry him, and then he gets them pregnant and
abuses them. Then either there is divorce or he kills them. That's the idea,
Rob Lowe plays Drew Peterson in the movie. He does a great job.
The real-life Peterson, of course, it's not nearly as good looking as Rob Lowe.
They tried to ugly him up a bit for the movie, but you can still tell he's
handsome. He plays Peterson as fairly insane. He does these crazy
things, and yet he is funny.
Most of the movie concentrates on his relationship with his
fourth wife, Stacy. She disappeared, and it seems that Drew and his friend
chopped her up and then buried her in containers somewhere (but her body hasn't
been found). After she disappears, they eventually dig up his third wife,
who supposedly committed suicide, and find that she was murdered. Since
Drew was a cop, he was able to cover that up when she was first found.
In real life, he is sitting in jail, awaiting trial. It doesn't
look like they have a lot of physical evidence against him, but we'll see. He is
definitely a psycho. The movie does a good job of showing his guilt and his
relationships. I look forward to seeing what happens in the real life trial and
whether Lifetime will make a follow-up movie in the future, should they find his
fourth wife's body or he gets out of jail. The movie is very intriguing
and worth watching.
ROB LOWE STARS AS CHARISMATIC POLICE OFFICER TURNED
NOTORIOUS MURDER SUSPECT IN
DREW PETERSON: UNTOUCHABLE,
PREMIERING JANUARY 21ST ON LIFETIME
Kaley Cuoco Also Stars in True-Life Crime Thriller
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 8, 2011) – Golden Globe® and Emmy® Award nominee Rob Lowe
(Parks and Recreation) and Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) star in the riveting Lifetime Original
Movie Drew Peterson: Untouchable, premiering Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 8PM ET/PT. Based
on a true story, the film follows the fascinating tale of police officer Drew Peterson’s fall from grace after
the mysterious disappearance of his fourth wife.
Charming Chicago-area officer Drew Peterson (Lowe) seemed virtually “untouchable” in more ways than
one when it came to his womanizing ways, having been married three times before landing the eye and
affection of Stacy Cales (Cuoco), a woman half his age. As Peterson’s relationship with Stacy blossoms,
his relationship with third wife Kathleen Savio (Cara Buono, Mad Men) unravels in a bitter divorce --
until Kathleen is inexplicably found dead in an empty bathtub. Soon after making Stacy his fourth wife
and having their first child, Peterson’s jealousy and controlling ways begin to strain their marriage.
Suddenly Stacy disappears, leaving her two children, and Peterson’s older children behind. Peterson
insists that Stacy left him for another man but in the wake of her disappearance, new questions are raised
about Kathleen’s death and her case is re-opened, drawing national media attention to Peterson and the
strange cases of Kathleen and Stacy. Peterson seems to bask in the media attention, professing his
innocence and announcing his engagement to yet another younger woman. But when authorities take a
closer look at the circumstances surrounding both cases, a different kind of spotlight is placed on him as
more questions arise. Are Kathleen’s death and Stacy’s still-unknown whereabouts just a tragic
coincidence? Or is there more there than meets the eye?
Multiple Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor Lowe currently stars in NBC’s comedy series Parks
and Recreation. Lowe is well known for his role on NBC’s hit drama, The West Wing, which won a

Globe nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV-Series - Drama. He was nominated three
times for the Screen Actors Guild Award, winning twice. Lowe recently appeared on Showtime’s
Californication and starred on ABC’s Brothers and Sisters. His feature film credits include the iconic

anecdotes, Lowe shares intimate personal memories as he recalls his encounters, experiences and the
audition that changed his life forever. The book was an instant New York Times best seller and enjoyed
consecutive weeks in the top four on the paper’s best seller list.

upcoming People’s Choice Awards. She also served as the host of the 2011 Teen Choice Awards. Cuoco
