Baby Daddy cast

"Baby Daddy" review by Suzanne
Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30c on ABC Family

If you've seen the movies "Three Men and a Baby", this is pretty similar to that, basically. There is no question here about who is the daddy, like in the movies, but it is mostly jokes about three guys having to deal with a baby.

Jean-Luc Bilodeau plays the lead guy, Ben. He is the baby's father. His brother Danny, who is not too bright, is visiting. His roommate, Tahj, doesn't want anything to do with the baby. If you watched the excellent ABC Family show "Kyle XY", you may recognize Bilodeau from that.  Melissa Peterman plays Ben and Danny's mom. Chelsea Kane plays their childhood friend, Riley, who has a thing for Ben.

I didn't think the show was funny at first, but it got better as it went along.  The cast does a good job. I hope the show will get even better. Sure, it's fine, but it could be funnier. Still, I don't find most sitcoms to be very funny, so this one has the edge.
