Special “Twin Peaks”-inspired episode in December Marking the Cult Favorite’s 20th Anniversary Featuring Series Originals Sherilyn Fenn, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, Robyn Lively, Lenny Von Dohlen and Catherine Coulson.

PSYCH, the hit original series starring James Roday (“The Dukes of Hazzard”), Dulé Hill (“The West Wing”), Corbin Bernsen (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” “L.A. Law”), Timothy Omundson (“Judging Amy,” “Deadwood”), Maggie Lawson (“Crumbs,” “Inside Schwartz”) and Kirsten Nelson (“Everwood”), returns with its fifth season continuation on USA Network, Wednesday, November 10 at 10/9c.

In the season premiere “Extradition II,” Shawn and Gus return to Vancouver to visit their old nemesis Despereaux (returning guest star Cary Elwes) in prison at the felon’s request, who then uses them to escape and pull one last job before he is extradited to the United States.   Only while he is out, he is framed for the murder of a Crown Attorney and now asks the guys’ for help clearing his name of this most recent – and frankly unseemly – charge.

PSYCH continues to attract a strong roster of guest stars and lined up for the Fall season, in addition to the aforementioned Elwes, is Ally Sheedy (“The Breakfast Club”) returning as Mr. Yin, Mena Suvari (“American Beauty”), Nora Dunn (“Saturday Night Live”) and Ralph Macchio (“The Karate Kid”).

In the 20th anniversary of the series that inspired a widespread cult following, viewers will be treated to a “Twin Peaks”-inspired episode on December 1.  The episode, “Dual Spires,” is co-written by James Roday and Bill Callahan with guest starring appearances by show originals Sherilynn Fenn, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, Robyn Lively, Lenny Von Dohlen and Catherine Coulson.  Songstress Julee Cruise, who performed music from the original series, will perform the PSYCH theme song.

PSYCH is executive produced by Steve Franks (“Big Daddy”), Kelly Kulchak and Chris Henze, with Universal Cable Productions in association with Tagline Pictures. Mel Damski (“Picket Fences”) serves as the executive producer and as a director. Saladin K. Patterson (“The Bernie Mac Show”), Bill Callahan (“Scrubs”) and Andy Berman (“Freddie”) are co-executive producer/writers.

PSYCH’s online destination will continue to engage, entertain and this time reward fans for their offline and online loyalty.  This season of PSYCH will introduce the all new “Club PSYCH” program along with several completely new digital experiences. If that’s not enough, fan-favorite PSYCH-OUTS will return with all new songs and outtakes, providing hours of fun.  This season Snyder’s Pretzels will be sponsoring the PSYCH Interactive Office, where fans can discover all new casual games, such as Pretzel Slinger and also take a peek indie Shawn's snack drawer.  If fans want to take Shawn and Gus on the road with them, they can download the new Bobblehead iPhone application.
