One big winner will earn the satisfaction of helping to get payback against a dirty double-crosser and walk away with a $100,000 cash reward through TNT’s “Get Ready to Get Even” online game1.  The exciting, multi-part game will launch at leverageHQ.com Sunday, Dec. 7, in conjunction with the television premiere of TNT’s new original series LEVERAGE, starring Academy Award® winner Timothy Hutton.

The “Get Ready to Get Even” game, created for TNT by Lead Dog Marketing Group, Inc (leaddogmarketing.com), involves the LEVERAGE team’s attempt to plant $100,000 in bribe money in the office of a corrupt executive.  Their plan goes awry, however, when they are double-crossed and forced into hiding, leaving the money stashed in the trunk of a Hyundai Genesis2.  Game players are encouraged to complete 11 missions over the course of the series to recover the cash and solve the mystery of who double-crossed them.  Those who complete a mission will be entered in a drawing to win $100,000 in prize money.

“What better time than now to create a LEVERAGE digital experience that gives consumers the chance to ‘get even’ and make a lot of money in the process?” said Tricia Melton, senior vice president of marketing for TNT, TBS and TCM.  “Like the series, this game is pure fun and high energy.  It taps directly into the kind of online gaming experience we know our viewers enjoy immensely.  We’re giving our viewers another relevant, smart and timely way to connect and become involved with the series.

TNT’s digital experience for LEVERAGE includes a special introduction and messages from team leader Nate Ford (Hutton), as well as other members of the team; a detailed microsite that provides the back story to the experience and the heist gone wrong; a video feed of the $100,000 stashed in the trunk of a Hyundai Genesis2 and a countdown clock to the official launch of the series and the game.  Consumers will be able to interact within the LEVERAGE Headquarters at the site, which is based on the set design for the series.  Hyundai is a sponsor of LEVERAGE.  Exclusive clips and background information for the show are currently available online at tnt.tv.

TNT is supporting the “Get Ready to Get Even” online game with custom on-air spots using clips from Nate Ford’s open and on-air navigation elements.  TNT will also place an ad in Entertainment Weekly, co-branded with Hyundai.  Additionally, TNT has worked with Yahoo! to develop a custom partnership on the Yahoo! Games site, launching Dec. 7.

TNT’s LEVERAGE follows a team of thieves, hackers and grifters who seek revenge against those who use power and wealth to victimize others.  Hutton stars as Nate Ford, a former insurance investigator whose son died as a result of corporate greed, paving the way for his new profession.  His highly skilled team is played by Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge.  LEVERAGE comes to TNT from Electric Entertainment and executive producers Dean Devlin and John Rogers.  The series will premiere Sunday, Dec. 7, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), then move into its regular timeslot, Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning Dec. 9.

Turner Network Television (TNT), television’s destination for drama and one of cable’s top-rated networks, offers original series, including the acclaimed and highly popular detective drama The Closer, starring Kyra Sedgwick; Saving Grace, starring Holly Hunter; Raising the Bar, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Gloria Reuben and Jane Kaczmarek; Leverage, starring Timothy Hutton; and Trust Me, with Eric McCormack and Tom Cavanagh.  TNT is also home to powerful one-hour dramas, such as Bones, Cold Case, Law & Order, Without a Trace, ER and Charmed; broadcast premiere movies; compelling prime-time specials, such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards®; and championship sports coverage, including NASCAR and the NBA.  TNT is available in high-definition.
