Phillip Says Good-Bye! This week, Phillip decides he should return to
Australia. Phillip figures that going Down Under will cover Cane’s tracks, but
that means leaving his family behind once again. When Cane hears about the
plan, he wants to come along, but Phillip adamantly refuses to include his pal.
Phillip also insists that his family not know the real reason why he’s leaving
Genoa City. Phillip lets Nina in on his travel plans and she isn’t happy.

Jack Has An Offer For Nick! Now that Katherine has made Chancellor
Industries’ stock public, Jack is determined to get a portion of it so he can
have more control over Jabot. Jack first approaches Neil for information on the
business move, but Neil refuses to tell him anything. Later, Ashley meets with
Neil and Kay to discuss how she can acquire some of the coveted stock, but Kay
is reluctant to make a deal with her, assuming that Ashley wants to make the
purchase on Jack’s behalf. Ashley assures Kay that her interest doesn’t have
anything to do with her brother. Meanwhile, a determined Jack approaches Nick
with a plan: Jack will put up the money to purchase the stock, but Nick will be
the one doing the buying under the pretense that he’s doing it for Newman
Enterprises.
Kay becomes suspicious of Jill’s lies and wonders what she could be hiding on
11/17. Phyllis learns a shocking truth from Patty that could change everything
on 11/18.

Jack Turns To Nick To Regain Control of Jabot! Jack’s quest for more control
of Jabot via its parent company, Chancellor Industries, leads him to Nick this
week. Jack’s impetus for buying up the stock is simple, he would be sitting on
the board of Chancellor and have more control over what happens to Jabot. But
Katherine is determined to keep Jack from acquiring the stock. Not one to be
deterred, Jack approaches Nick with a deal: He will put up the money to buy
Chancellor stock if Nick buys it posing as Newman Enterprises. Jack strengthens
the proposal by appealing to Nick’s sense of family.
This Week: Lauren receives a surprising gift at Amber and Daniel’s wedding.
Kay becomes suspicious of Jill’s lies. Kevin chooses Ryder over Michael and
Lauren. Chloe pushes Nina’s buttons where Chance is concerned.

Chloe Confesses Her True Feelings to Chance! After Billy kissed Chloe
last week – Chance spied the smooch – she finally realized that Chance is
the man she wants to be with. Her feelings come out when the object of her
affection is seriously injured. A very forgiving Chance joins Chloe for
some coffee at Crimson Lights, but just as she begins to open up to him,
Phillip stops by their table and interrupts the conversation. Later, Chance
returns to the coffeehouse, just as it’s being robbed. When the detective
attempts to stop the crime, the thief stabs him. Chance is rushed to the
hospital, where the doctors inform his family that they may have to remove
his spleen. While they’re awaiting word on his condition, Katherine has a
heart-to-heart with a devastated Chloe, who admits that she thinks that
Chance is an amazing man. Nina overhears Chloe and Kay’s talk, but before
she gets an opportunity to say anything, the doctor tells everyone that
Chance is going to recover. After, Chloe sits with him in his hospital room
while he’s sleeping and becomes emotional as she finally opens up about her
true feelings for him. Then, Chance opens his eyes. However, she might not
get the chance to act on her feelings – Phillip later rushes out of his
son’s room yelling for a doctor.

Phyllis Threatens Patty! As Patty continues to work on her recovery in
the mental institution, she sends Phyllis a letter, which Phyllis – whose
daughter, Summer, fell into a coma after Patty purposefully made the highly
allergic girl come in contact with peanut cookies – takes to be
threatening. Phyllis heads to the hospital and tells her rival to back off
from her family. Emily quickly intervenes and stands up for her patient,
saying that if Phyllis needs to be angry with someone, then she should blame
Emily. Phyllis isn’t placated and tells the psychiatrist to keep away from
her family, as well.
Daniel’s fate hangs in the balance when Michael uncovers the truth about
Ryder’s alibi on 11/11.
SOW 11/17/09
Rachel Anderson appears on 11/10 as Anita, Lily’s chemo nurse.
Chloe’s Desperate For Another Chance! After a stabbing in the line of
duty lands Chance in the hospital, Chloe faces the devastating prospect of
losing him this week. After Chloe races to the hospital, Kay sees how
distraught she is and motions for Chloe to sit with her. Kay assures Chloe
that Chance will be fine and that she’ll get the opportunity to make things
right. Chloe gets her opportunity to tell Chance how she feels when he is
wheeled into the recovery room after surgery. Chloe goes in and has a nice
honest moment with Chance, while he is asleep. Chloe tells Chance that he
can’t leave her now b ecause she was just starting to enjoy him and get to
know him. Chance wakes up and says that he isn’t going anywhere. After her
moment with Chance, Chloe runs into Nina. Nina begrudgingly acknowledges
Chloe’s feelings for her son, but points out that it doesn’t mean that Chloe
is over Billy. But before Chloe can start proving herself, Phillip runs out
of Chance’s room yelling for a doctor.
A letter from Patty throws Phyllis into a tailspin this week, and she
heads to the asylum to have it out with the psycho. Michelle Stafford
discusses the heated confrontation. Summer actually receives the letter,
that reads “I’m sorry I tried to hurt you.” Phyllis doesn’t buy the apology
and heads to the sanitarium to see Patty. Phyllis warns Patty to stay away
from Summer. Emily ends up interrupting and coming to Patty’s defense.
Emily orders Phyllis to leave and on her way out, Phyllis warns not only
Patty, but also Emily to stay away from her family.
This Week: Lily has stunning news for Neil. Daniel’s fate hangs in the
balance when Michael uncovers the truth about Ryder’s alibi. Jack and Nick
conspire to keep an eye on Adam. Nina is furious when Phillip disappoints
Chance.

Nick Plots to Keep Adam Away From Sharon! Nick bristles when he learns that
Sharon has a new buddy: Adam. On Halloween eve, Adam surprises Sharon with a
visit. She welcomes him and they have a great time playing holiday games.
Meantime, Phyllis and Nick take Summer trick-or-treating. When they stop at
Sharon’s house, Nick is shocked to see Sharon passing out candy with his
brother. An upset Nick begins to get into it with Adam, but Phyllis pulls her
husband away. Adam, on the other hand, is pleased to have gotten Nick so riled
up. After, Nick admits to Phyllis how much it irked him to see Sharon with
Adam. Phyllis doesn’t buy it when Adam later insists that he means well.
Meanwhile, Nick warns Sharon that Adam is a troublemaker. Sharon reminds her
ex-husband that he has no say in who she chooses for friends. Later, Nick
implores Adam to stay away from Sharon. Then, Nick gives his brother an
assignment that will keep Adam far from her – literally.
Ratings for 10/12: 3.5

will be written out and last day was 11/2.
Chloe Makes Her Choice! After weeks of dating Chance in order to make Billy
jealous, Chloe finally decides which guy she truly wants to be with. When Billy
goes to Jimmy’s bar to set up for his Halloween party, Victoria slaps him for
exposing her affair with Deacon in his Restless Style expose. Mac is
disappointed in her beau, but Chloe stands up for Billy. After, Chloe spends
time with Chance, but when things begin to heat up between them, he again pulls
away. Later, Billy visits Colleen’s grave and breaks down. He then heads to
the Chancellor estate and impulsively kisses Chloe, but she says that he doesn’t
want to be his second choice and chooses Chance. However, Chance happens to
witness their smooch.
Lily and Cane contemplate having sex again on 11/3.

Nick to Adam: Stay Away From Sharon! The sight of Adam cozying up to Sharon
infuriates Nick this week, and he warns his brother to steer clear of his ex.
Nick is spurred into action when he and Phyllis arrive at Sharon’s house with
Summer, and find Adam helping her dole out candy to trick-or-treaters. Phyllis
senses her husband’s wrath and quickly pulls him out of the house. Once they’re
alone, she confronts Nick about how the sight of Sharon with Adam grates on his
nerves. Phyllis encourages Nick to discuss the situation with Sharon. Nick
heads over to see Sharon and confronts her about Adam. After his talk with
Sharon, Nick decides to have a chat with Adam. Nick bluntly tells his brother
to stay away from Sharon, but Adam tells Nick to take care of his marriage to
Phyllis. Nick tells Adam that he is being sent on a business trip because he is
genuinely needed to do this, but also to get him away from Sharon.
This Week: Victoria makes a decision about her future. Cane and Lily inch
closer to making love. Gloria discovers a way to retrieve her fortune. Neil
offers to help Devon with his music career.

Billy Plots Revenge! As Billy begins his stint as the editor-in-chief of
Restless Style, he’s still livid that Victor received the late Colleen’s
heart because Victor’s actions inadvertently led to her death. So Billy
uses his new position of power to get revenge against Victor with a scathing
cover story about how Victor stole the heart of Billy’s niece. Jack comes
by to check up on his younger brother and finds Billy working on the
expose. Though he initially had doubts about Billy taking over the
magazine, Jack ends up assisting with the article that slams his longtime
rival. Not everyone in Billy’s life is on board with him planning revenge:
Chloe supports him, but Mackenzie objects to his actions. And when Ashley
learns about the article, she’s upset that this is what Billy did with the
money she loaned him. In the meantime, Nick gets wind of the story … and
shows it to his father.
Sean Smith appears on 10/27 as a securities investigator at Newman
Enterprises.
Yvonne Zima joins the cast on 10/30 as Daisy.
Adam Confesses To Sharon! Adam continues to struggle with his guilt over
giving Sharon’s baby to Ashley and blackmailing Dr. Taylor into lying to
Sharon that her baby died. So, when Adam spies an uncomfortable Sharon
watching Nick hold Faith at the baby’s christening, a torn Adam approaches
her and attempts to comfort her. He then suddenly says that she needs to
know the truth – and surprisingly ends up revealing that he slept with Rafe
in order to manipulate him. Sharon is shocked by the out-of-left-field
confession and takes a moment to process it, but given her own past with
relationships, she’s sympathetic. The admission creates a closer bond
between the two.
Ryder receives a cryptic phone call on 10/28. Victor visits Colleen’s
grave on 10/29.
*HOW SWEEPS IT IS!* The lowdown on the hottest November stories on every
show! Adam has been given a position at Newman as a consequence of him
being so supportive of Victor, but Nick and Victoria were opposed to it.
Adam will pursue a friendship with Sharon. They will reveal secrets to each
other and Adam will take advantage of her vulnerability. Chance will
intervene in a robbery and get stabbed, which will bring out a whole
different side of Chloe. Lily’s condition will improve, but she will also
have a crisis. In that crisis, Neil will see how much Cane loves Lily, so
they will again have her father’s blessing.
What Will Happen: Jana finds a clue from Ryder’s past that may lead her
to uncovering the truth!
Yvonne Zima joins the cast as Abby’s new friend, Daisy, on 10/30.
Billy Trashes Victor! Billy writes an expose to destroy Victor this week
and infuriates Mac and Ashley in the process. Billy is working on the story
when Jack arrives at the Restless Style office. Jack sits down and starts
reading Billy’s story and is disapproving at first, but Jack ends up helping
Billy write the article. The story goes to press, much to Billy and Jack’s
delight. However, Mac is furious and confronts Billy about it. Chloe, on
the other hand, offers her support. Later, Ashley and Sharon arrive at the
magazine offices. Ashley is furious when she realizes that Billy spent the
money she lent him to attack the father of her children. However, with Mac
and Ashley both furious at him, Billy does have a few second thoughts.
This Week: Jana finds a clue from Ryder’s past that could lead to the
truth. Michael gives Adam a warning. Nikki realizes that she may have a
future with Victor. Amber asks Lauren for a job.

Ashley Confronts Nikki! As Sharon struggles to accept the fact that her
baby with Nick is “dead,” Ashley enjoys being a mom to her new daughter,
Faith – unaware that she’s really Sharon’s child. The grieving mother comes
in close contact with her infant when she brings Ashley some items for the
baby. Meantime, Ashley and Victor’s divorce begins to turn ugly as he and
Nikki grow closer. When Ashley asks for the Newman ranch in the divorce
settlement, the ladies have it out. Ashley stands firm in her demand for
the ranch, explaining to Nikki that she wants her and Victor’s daughter to
have the same kind of lifestyle that Victoria and Nick had growing up.
Later, Victor meets with Michael to discuss the divorce proceedings – and
makes a shocking decision.
Ratings for 9/28: 3.3
Billy’s Offer To Phyllis! Now that Billy has quit Jabot, he’s ready to
plan his next move. After he overhears Phyllis admit to Chloe that she
isn’t sure she wants to run Restless Style anymore, he offers to buy the
magazine. However, when Billy asks Jack for a loan, his big brother isn’t
eager to help out. Ashley agrees to give him the money, but will Billy be
able to run the magazine effectively.
Nikki has a heart-to-heart with Katherine on 10/21. Also, Traci gives
advice to Nikki.
What Will Happen: Deacon learns from his mystery employer who his next
targets are.

Ashley to Victor: I Want The Ranch! As Nikki and Victor grow closer,
Ashley hits her estranged husband with a stunning request this week: She
wants the ranch in their divorce settlement. Victor doesn’t take it well.
Although Nikki tries to cover, she is furious and heads off to confront
Ashley. The confrontation escalates when Ashley reveals that she heard
Victor declare his love for Nikki in the hospital. Ashley ends up telling
Nikki to leave her house now. Nikki leaves, disgruntled, but Ashley’s at
peace. Later, Billy reaches out to Ashley, thrilled that she’s split from
Victor and is standing up for herself and the girls. When Billy hits Ashley
up for a loan so that he can buy Restless Style, a request that both Traci
and Jack have turned down, she agrees to consider it.
**November Sweeps Preview** Tensions rise between Nick and Adam, after
Victor forces the brothers to work together at newman. Sharon is Nick’s
Achilles heel. Chance intervenes in a robbery and is stabbed. When Chloe
learns that he has been rushed to the ER and is fighting for his life, her
world will shift. Billy and Mac face powerful new obstacles. Billy has
bought Restless Style and uses the magazine to do this terrible expose on
Victor. Lily’s illness and the broken trust between her and Cane has kept
them from being intimate. They will break through the issue and make love
for the first time in a long time.
This Week: Billy makes Phyllis a stunning proposition. Deacon learns who
his next targets will be. Chloe stands up for her man. Traci and Jack are
approached about a loan.

Nick and Sharon’s Heartbreaking Good-Bye! To mourn the passing of her
stillborn daughter, Faith (who is still alive but filling in as Ashley’s new
baby, thanks to Adam), a grieving Sharon takes the cremated remains to the
Abbott cabin, where she was conceived. Sharon is surprised and moved when
Nick shows up. Together, the bereaved parents spread the ashes. Not
surprisingly, the exes share an emotional moment. After, Jack calls Sharon
and asks for a meeting. When they get together, he proposes that she rent
Brad’s house for the time being (Abby actually inherited the place but is
too young to live there on her own). While Sharon mulls Jack’s offer, Nick
returns to Phyllis, who tries to cheer up her melancholy husband. Phyllis
understands how tough this is for both Nick and Sharon, but still reminds
her husband that he can’t close himself off to the world like he did with
Cassie.
Ratings for 9/21: 3.4
Cane and Lily Renew Their Vows! As a cancer-striken Lily deals with her
illness and the death of best friend Colleen, her husband, Cane, continues
to be her rock. Lily gets some good news, though, when her doctor informs
her that she no longer has to be quarantined at home. Lily’s first stop is
the church cemetery to visit Colleen’s grave. Cane and Lily end up at the
chapel and remember their wedding. Cane says that he never meant to hurt
her and they renew their vows.
Adam is given the opportunity to return to Newman Enterprises on 10/14,
but it isn’t the dream job he had hoped for.
What Will Happen: After everything that has happened, Ashley must decide
if she will still leave Victor.
SOW 10/20/09
Ashley to Victor: I Want A Divorce! It’s the end of the line for Victor
and Ashley this week, when she tells him that their marriage is over. While
cleaning up after Colleen’s memorial, Ashley gets a call from the hospital
that baby Faith is ready to come home. Before leaving to pick her up, Jack
pushes the issue of Victor. Ashley tells Jack that Victor isn’t the person
she thought he was. Needless to say, Jack is thrilled. Ashley heads off to
fetch Faith, but when she arrives at the hospital nursery, the baby is
gone. Ashley goes to Victor’s room and discovers that the infant is there
with him and Nikki. Once Nikki leaves, Ashley apologizes for overreacting.
Then she confronts Victor about their future. While Ashley is touched by
the letter that Victor wrote thanking Colleen and her family for donating
her heart to him, it doesn’t sway her opinion of Victor or what she must
do. Victor’s recent actions proved Ashley was right all along. So she
tells Victor that their marriage is over and that she is filing for
divorce. Victor asks if there is some way that they can work this out, but
Ashley tells him that once she heard that he hired Patty Williams, she knew
there was no going back and that she blames him for Colleen’s death.
Afterward, Victor shares the news with Nikki that he and Ashley are
divorcing, while Ashley informs Adam. Ashley’s purpose is to raise her
daughters the way they should be raised. That purpose causes Ashley to come
to another major decision about her, Faith and Abby’s future and she decides
that she wants the same thing for her children that Nikki got when she and
Victor were separated.
Four’s a crowd when Mac and Billy and Chloe and Chance converge at the
Abbott cabin this week. Elizabeth Hendrickson discusses all the fussing and
feelings the close quarters unleash. Chance and Chloe show up at the cabin
right after Mac and Billy and the confrontation is very awkward. When
Chance and Chloe walk into the cabin, there is Mac and Billy kissing and it
kills the moment. Billy assumes that Chloe was following him and that she
planned it. Chloe explains that she and Chance left the Harvest Festival
and wanted some time alone, but Billy doesn’t back down and Chance ends up
defending her. Chloe and Billy end up doing their thing and going back and
forth at each other. Chance and Mac end up sitting awkwardly, eating
popcorn and watching them. Billy decides that Chloe should leave because
she is no longer an Abbott. Chloe says that it isn’t true because she
hasn’t signed their divorce papers. Chloe comes up with an idea to solve
the “who should leave the cabin” dilemma: a game of Scrabble.
This Week: Sharon and Nick say goodbye to their daughter. Adam is
offered an opportunity to return to Newman Enterprises. Daniel turns the
tables on Deacon, with the help of an unexpected source. Victor begins to
lose consciousness.
Can’t Miss: Cane and Lily renew their vows on 10/15.
Next Week: Billy has a proposition for Phyllis. Nikki and Ashley face

Nick Tells Phyllis The Truth About Sharon’s Baby! After weeks of keeping
secret the fact that he fathered Sharon’s baby, Nick finally tells Phyllis the
truth. As he and Sharon continue to reel over the baby’s “death” (unaware that
Adam gave the infant to a clueless Ashley), Phyllis worries about her husband’s
anguish. Phyllis’s concern prompts Nick to confess that it was his and Sharon’s
baby who died. A sympathetic Phyllis assures Nick that they will get through
everything as a family. After, Nick relays the bad news to Victoria, and tells
her that he was the baby’s father. Sharon also informs Victor, Noah and Jack
that she lost the baby, but decides not to tell her son the truth about the
baby’s paternity. Jack, fearing for Sharon’s well-being, reminds her that she
needs to take care of herself. Sharon also surprisingly finds a friend in
Phyllis, who is on hand to comfort her rival. Ashley later introduces Nick to
his “sister,” Faith, and lets him hold her. Adam’s scheme begins to fall
apart, though, when Jack fills in Ashley about Sharon’s “miscarriage” – and
Sharon decides that she wants her baby’s ashes.
Ratings for 9/14: 3.3
Billy Leaves Jabot! After Colleen dies and Traci agrees to give Victor her
daughter’s heart, Billy struggles to come to terms with the situation. As Billy
prays in the hospital chapel, he runs into Kay and she points out that being
angry with Victor won’t bring Colleen back. After, Billy admits to Mac that
he’s discouraged about life and she suggests that he get a fresh start by
quitting Jabot. Later, Traci asks Billy to make the arrangements for Colleen’s
funeral. After the service, Billy informs Jack that he plans to leave Jabot.
Jack attempts to talk Billy out of it, but ends up insulting his brother. Billy
then informs Ashley of his plans.
Katherine witnesses Deacon and Gloria make a deal to sell the Terroni for
millions (if Gloria can get her hands on the painting) on 10/7. Adam feels
guilty about what he has done to Sharon on 10/8.
What Will Happen: Chloe reluctantly agrees to go on a date with Chance to the
Harvest Festival.
SOW 10/13/09
Karen Hensel returns on 10/9 as Doris, Sharon’s mother.
Victor Gets Colleen’s Heart! Jack delivers lifesaving news to Victor and the
Newmans this week: Traci has agreed to donate Colleen’s heart to the ailing
patriarch. Traci asks Jack to tell Victor because she can’t face him. Before
leaving his nemesis’ hospital room, Jack does wish Victor well. Jack has
decided that enough people have died and for Colleen’s sake, Jack hopes that
Victor will live. In the corridor, Jack delivers the news to a very grateful
Newman family. When Traci and Steve are called off to deal with some paperwork,
Jack suggests that it is time for the Abbotts to start saying goodbye to
Colleen. Soon, a nurse comes to get Colleen, and she and Victor are wheeled off
to surgery. When Victor is wheeled out of the operating room, the doctor
informs everyone that everything went well and that Victor should be fine.
While Victor is wheeled back into his room, Jack is left standing in the waiting
area thinking about Colleen.
Sharon tries to come to terms with losing her baby girl this week, unaware
that the infant was actually taken by Adam and given to Ashley. Sharon Case
details the latest nightmare in her character’s life. Sharon continues
suffering. After she tells Noah and Jack that she lost her baby, Jack reveals
that Ashley named her child Faith. Jack tells Sharon that even though her baby
is gone, she has to keep living. After Nick tells Phyllis he was the father of
Sharon’s baby, Phyllis goes to thank Sharon for sending Nick back to her and
Summer. Later, Sharon runs into Adam at the hospital and they have a brief
conversation. Sharon mentions that she is going to locate her baby’s ashes.
Adam realizes that there is a problem because there are no ashes, so he swipes
some from a funeral home and has them delivered to Sharon.
This Week: Billy tells Jack that he is leaving Jabot. Chloe reluctantly
agrees to go on a date with Chance. Deacon and Gloria make a deal to trade the
Terroni for $5 million. Sharon and Phyllis find common ground.

Colleen Dies! After Colleen is declared brain dead, Traci makes the
harrowing decision to take her only child off life support. In the
aftermath, the Abbotts struggle to handle the loss. Meanwhile, Victor’s
life also hangs in the balance, courtesy of Patty shooting him. As the
doctor informs the Newmans that he will need a heart transplant within a
couple of weeks in order to survive, Traci is encouraged to donate
Colleen’s organs. After Traci decides to donate Colleen’s organs, a
desperate Nikki appeals to the Abbotts to see if the heart is a match
for Victor. The family is appalled. Later, Nikki reminds Jack that
despite what he may think of his rival, Victor still has a family who
loves him. After much thought and a heart-to-heart with John’s ghost,
Jack surprises Traci when he tells her that he believes that she should
give Colleen’s heart to Victor. Jack doesn’t want his family to have to
deal with another loss. Later, Traci agrees to at least have the tests
done to see if Colleen’s heart is a match for Victor. As the Newmans
anxiously await Traci’s final decision, a dying Victor declares his
feelings to Nikki.

Trade Secret! Ashley and Sharon become victims of Adam’s switch
scheme. Last week, an emotionally shattered Ashley finally committed
herself to a psychiatric hospital for treatment. Adam fears that Ashley
will finally learn that she is not really pregnant, and comes up with a
plan to cover her miscarriage. Unfortunately, it includes an
unsuspecting – and pregnant – Sharon. While Ashley is getting settled
in her new digs, Sharon is having mild contractions in her own room.
Adam summons Dr. Taylor to the hospital. After Dr. Taylor examines
Ashley and convinces her that the baby is fine, a nurse appears and asks
the baby doc to assist another patient who has gone into labor. Ashley
urges Dr. Taylor to help the woman. After he leaves, Ashley is
comforted by Adam. Sharon’s water breaks as Dr. Taylor shows up to
offer assistance. Dr. Taylor walks out to call an ambulance and runs
into Adam, who informs him that Ashley believes that she is also going
into labor. Adam – who spotted Sharon in labor – orders the physician
not to call for an ambulance and to deliver Sharon’s baby. Adam returns
to Ashley with the news that the hospital is in lockdown and Adam gives
Ashley some medication to get her to pass out. Meanwhile, Dr. Taylor is
tending to Sharon. With no other options available, Dr. Taylor delivers
Sharon’s baby girl, already named Faith. Sharon passes out because she
is delirious and exhausted. Across the hall, Ashley wakes up and
becomes hysterical when Adam announces that she gave birth, but a nurse
took the baby away. Ashley gets up and says that she is going to see if
she had a baby, but Adam says that he will go get the baby for her. A
fast-thinking Adam rushes over to Sharon’s room, where Dr. Taylor is
holding her infant in his arms. Adam takes Sharon’s baby and presents
Ashley’s baby to her. An unconscious Sharon is rushed to Genoa City
Memorial and as soon as she wakes up, asks for her baby. That is when
she is told that the baby died. Dr. Taylor (at Adam’s behest, of
course) informs a distraught Sharon that her dead baby had deformities.
Nick shows up at the hospital and one look at Sharon’s face makes him
realize that something is very wrong. The grieving parents ask to see
their child, but Dr. Taylor tells them that they shouldn’t do that
because of the deformities. The doctor suggests that they do the
cremation immediately and Sharon agrees without ever seeing her baby.
Meanwhile, Dr. Taylor and Adam scramble to keep Ashley from being
examined by another doctor.
What Will Happen: Amber, Jana, Kevin and Daniel need more time to
deliver the Terroni to Deacon!

Adam Gives Sharon’s Baby to Ashley! Determined not to blow
the secret that Ashley miscarried and he was responsible, Adam
swipes Sharon’s newborn daughter and gives her to Ashley.
Sharon is at the mental hospital and going into labor when
Ashley checks into the same facility. Adam panics and calls Dr.
Taylor to bully his way into the mental institution as Ashley’s
ob/gyn to check her out physically. Dr. Taylor obliges, while
Adam hovers over Ashley. When a nurse asks Dr. Taylor to help a
woman in labor, Ashley urges him to go to her. Adam stays with
Ashley, who doubles over in pain and says that she is going into
labor too. Adam rushes to tell Dr. Taylor, when he spots Sharon
in her room amid contractions. Adam tells Dr. Taylor not to
call an ambulance and to deliver Sharon’s baby there. Adam sets
off an alarm to create a distraction, so that he has two
controlled environments with no witnesses. Adam “helps” Ashley
deliver her baby, and fortunately Ashley conks out during the
“birth.” When Ashley wakes up, Adam says that she delivered a
beautiful baby, but blacked out and a nurse took the baby away.
Adam meets with Dr. Taylor, who just delivered Sharon’s baby,
scoops up the child and walks away with her. Adam then presents
Sharon’s baby to Ashley. Sharon wakes up and demands to know
where her baby is. Dr. Taylor asks Adam what he should say and
Adam tells the doctor that it is his problem and to tell Sharon
that her baby died. Then Adam tells Dr. Taylor that their
association ends there. Dr. Taylor delivers the devastating
news to Sharon, who’s consumed by grief. Meanwhile, Adam
prepares to move on – but not without remorse.
This Week: A run-in with Deacon reminds JT of Victoria’s
infidelity. Amber, Daniel, Kevin and Jana disagree over what to
do with the Terroni. Kay asks Jill to return to Chancellor
Industries. Abby meets her new “sister.”

Melody Thomas Scott returns this week as Nikki Newman, when Paul tracks
her down to let her know what happened to Victor.
Kay Learns Jill’s Secret! For months, Jill’s been keeping quiet about
the fact that she lost all of her money and is now working in a nail salon.
This week, Katherine finally learns the truth about Jill being broke. They
are arguing at the Chancellor mansion about Jill not paying her property
taxes, and Jill gives in and gives Katherine a check. Kay sees that the
check isn’t signed and follows Jill, to the salon. Jill is mortified to see
Kay there, while a stunned Kay is overcome by nostalgia. Kay doesn’t
understand why Jill would want to work there, but then realizes how
determined Jill is, and is reminded of why she liked her in the first
place. The women admit that they’ve missed their friendship. Later, Kay
leaves Jill an extremely generous tip.
Daniel, Amber, Kevin and Jana devise a plan to steal the real Terroni on
9/23, but when Gloria learns that she has her own claim to the painting, all
bets are off and the games is on.
Desperate Hours! The clock is ticking away for Victor, so where’s
Nikki? As last week came to a close, Patty had her gun trained on Jack and
Victor, as she decided which one she should shoot. When Patty turns the gun
on Jack and Victor, Jack is forced to stop performing CPR on Colleen. Even
though she is breathing on her own at this point, she is still in grave
danger and needs medical attention immediately. Patty’s emotional distress
reaches a fever point and it looks like Jack is about to be her next victim,
but Victor takes action. Victor suddenly draws her attention away from Jack
and she shoots Victor. He gets hit in the stomach and the chest. Patty is
horrified by what happened and Jack calls 911. JT and Paul arrive moments
later and frantically try to assist Jack with Victor and Colleen. The
paramedics arrive and the victims are rushed to the hospital. The Abbotts
and Newmans are notified and anxiously wait at Genoa City Memorial for their
injured loved ones to be brought in. Meanwhile, Paul realizes that Patty is
an extreme threat. The ambulance arrives with Victor and Colleen, and they
are wheeled past their worried family members. Later, a doctor announces
that Colleen is no longer breathing on her own and that the outlook for
Victor’s survival isn’t so rosy either. For now, Jack decides not to call
Ashley with the dire news. Victoria and Nick enter their father’s room,
where Victor lies unconscious. While his children apologize for attacking
him earlier about Patty. Victor opens his eyes. Victoria and Nick are
hopeful until they learn that there are bullet fragments in Victor’s heart
and he needs life-saving surgery immediately. But first, Victor tells
Victoria that he wants Nikki to know that he still loves her. After Victor
is taken to the operating room, Nick and Victoria realize that they need to
find Nikki as soon as possible. When Paul arrives, Victoria asks him to
find Nikki and bring her to Victor. Despite the fact that Nikki dumped Paul
the night before their wedding, he magnanimously agrees. The PI later
receives a text message from someone who claims to have seen Nikki the night
she supposedly disappeared. Billy finally contacts Ashley and reveals that
not only has Victor been shot, but he also saved Jack’s life. After Ashley
arrives at the hospital with Adam in tow, Jack announces to Abby, Nick, JT
and Victoria that Colleen is brain dead. Everyone is devastated, but Jack
becomes enraged when a doctor announces that Victor is going to be fine.
The grief-stricken Jack has to be physically restrained as he screams that
Victor, not Colleen, should be dead. Ashley finally enters Victor’s room,
but retreats when he whispers Nikki’s name. Victor learns about Colleen’s
condition and is hit hard. Meanwhile, Paul is following a lead on Nikki,
which brings him to an exclusive spa in the Rocky Mountains. He knocks on
the door of a room and is relieved when Nikki answers. Nikki is shocked to
see him there, but senses that something is seriously wrong. Paul tells
Nikki that Victor was shot and that Mary Jane Benson is really his sister,
Patty, and that she was responsible. It doesn’t take long for Nikki to put
the pieces together and realize Victor’s involvement. When Paul mentions
that everyone has been worried about her, Nikki counters that she sent many
letters to the ranch for Victor and their kids giving her whereabouts. Paul
tells her that no one has seen these letters and they wonder where they went
– or who intercepted them. At the hospital, Ashley returns to Victor’s room
so they can face the reality of their rocky marriage. As Ashley is further
explaining the reasons that she has to leave, Victor goes into cardiac
arrest. The doctors burst in just as Adam, Victoria and Nick join Ashley.
At that moment Nick gets a call from his mother, who is checking on Victor’s
status. It doesn’t sound good, so Nikki drops the phone and immediately
starts packing. Nikki tells Paul that she has to get to Victor before it’s
too late!
What Will Happen: Colleen’s life remains in danger.

Colleen Dies; Jack Blames Victor! Patty’s reign of terror leaves
Colleen dead and Jack blaming Victor for the senseless loss of his niece
this week. After Jack tracks down Patty and finds Colleen unconscious
by the lake, Patty pulls a gun and stops Jack from phoning for help.
Patty tells Jack that he did her wrong, while Jack is freaking out
because Colleen is barely alive. In the midst of the situation, Victor
shows up. Victor tries to persuade Patty to put the gun down. When
Victor diverts Patty, she realizes that he is responsible for all of
this, so she turns and shoots him three times in the chest. Realizing
what she has done, Patty runs off. Jack calls for an ambulance, just as
Paul and JT arrive. While Paul heads after his twisted sister, JT and
Jack wait for the paramedics. Later, at the hospital, Jack keeps
telling himself that as long as Colleen’s heart is still beating, she
will be okay. Soon, a doctor delivers devastating news to the Abbott
and Newman families: Colleen is no longer breathing on her own and the
chances of Victor’s survival are slim. When Ashley shows up with Adam,
Jack explains Victor’s role in the whole mess. Jack also makes it clear
that Patty’s gunfire was meant for him, but Victor diverted Patty at the
wrong time, and she shot him instead. As Ashley comes to terms with
that, Jack, Traci and Steve are given more bad news: Colleen is
braindead. Then, Victor’s doctor comes out and says that he is going to
be okay. Jack lunges at Victor’s hospital room door, yelling that he
should have died and not Colleen.

Ashley Tells Victor That She Hit Nikki! As Ashley becomes more lucid
about the night of the rainstorm, she recalls more information
indicating that it wasn’t Sabrina that she’d hit with Victor’s car – it
was Nikki! Convinced that her hunch is right, she heads outside of the
Newman Ranch to check out the scene of the accident. There, she finds a
cell phone with a dead battery on the ground. Ashley wants to show
Victor and tell him about Nikki, but Adam urges her not to say
anything. He becomes nervous when she wants to recharge the phone so
she can find out who it belongs to and get more information. Later, she
tells Victor that something happened to Nikki and she’s responsible.
Ashley admits that when she was driving, she thought she saw Sabrina,
but it was Nikki whom she ran into with the car. However, Victor thinks
that the incident is all in Ashley’s head. Adam is pleased to see
Ashley and Victor’s marriage in trouble.

Greg Wrangler returns on 9/17 as Steve Connelly, Traci’s huband who
comes to offer support during Colleen’s hostage crisis.
Victoria Tells JT That She Slept With Deacon! JT and Victoria’s
already-shaky marriage takes another hit when she confesses that she
cheated with Deacon. This comes out as the couple argues about a
missing Colleen, who’s been taken hostage by Patty, and JT again blames
Victor for bringing Patty to town. JT accuses Victoria of not caring
about Colleen being gone and Victoria ends up telling him about having
sex with Deacon. Later, Victoria begins to suspect that JT is right
about her father – but will it be too late to save their marriage?
Nick and Victoria confront Victor about Patty on 9/16, while
Colleen’s decision to stay and help Patty could end up costing her more
than she bargained for.
What Will Happen: Deacon and Daniel strike a deal that could mean
Amber’s freedom.

Beth Maitland (Traci) and Greg Wrangler (Steve) will appear on 9/17

Ashley confesses: “I Ran Down Nikki!” Convinced that Nikki is the
woman she ran down the night of the rainstorm, Ashley decides to confess
to Victor this week. Adam, of course, tries to persuade Ashley not to
tell Victor what she thinks happened. Adam says that if Ashley does,
Victor will have her committed, and she’s going to have her baby behind
bars. Ashley thinks that Victor will believe her and stand by her, so
she decides that she has to come clean. Alone, Ashley tells Victor that
she suspects that she struck Nikki with her car. Ashley says that she
thought it was Sabrina, but was hallucinating and that it was actually
Nikki. After her heartfelt confession, Ashley realizes that Victor
doesn’t believe her story. Victor is convinced that Ashley is crazy and
needs help. Ashley is devastated and admits to Adam that he was right.
Ashley begins to crumble in the aftermath of it all.
This Week: Deacon and Daniel strike a deal that could mean Amber’s
freedom. Victoria tells JT that she slept with Deacon. Colleen’s
decision to stay and help Patty costs her more than she bargained.
Gloria lands an unexpected job when she hits rock bottom.
