Adam: You need some input, Jack?
Jack: No, no, no, no. I got it. (channeling Victor Newman) August 17th-- I am about to take a human life. Walter Palin's life. Conjuring up images of his suffering is the only thing that gives me peace. But how to go about it? How best to rid the earth of this vermin? This wretched excuse for a man? There's always poison. I could sit and sip tequila and watch him die from across a room. The deed done, I could finish my drink and slip out unobserved, but would that be too easy? I could follow him. I could run his car off the road, tamper with his brakes. Almost a cliché, given his line of work, but certainly no one would suspect that I was behind it. But would that be satisfying enough? That is key. I've traveled such a long distance. I've waited so long. No. No, the direct approach is best. I will walk up to this scum and dispatch him my bare hands. That way, he will know who wanted him dead. Each scenario... is repellant. But as I think about Walter Palin and what he did to my beautiful Sabrina, to our unborn child, I know I am capable of all of these murderous actions and more.
Jack: We were far from shore. The storm was upon us. The sky the color of a bruise. The boat tossed recklessly in the sea. A giant swell crashed on the deck. And we were taking on water fast. Time was running out. Palin was screaming at me to help bail us out. This murderous thug, this animal was nothing but a frightened coward. As our situation grew worse, a sudden calm washed over me. I knew I might not make it through this storm, but I knew... when this boat went under, Walter Palin would be dead. I ran at him with every intention of wringing the last breath from his helpless neck, when another wave hit, knocking me into him. With everything in me, I held his head underwater. He fought and scratched. I could feel him struggling beneath my hand. And then suddenly... finally... it stopped. As soon as I let go, the boat flipped over and into the raging sea we went.
Jack: Well, mission accomplished. Feels pretty good, doesn't it?
Adam: I would say that was a pretty productive session.
