Lauren: What's the guy like?
Michael: Suit, tie. He looks like an insurance salesman.
Lauren: Do you think he'll be a good witness?
Michael: A whole lot better than if he still had his hair down to his waist and was wearing tie-dye.
Lauren: I just cannot believe that he went to prison rather than testify against your father.
Michael: That's because he, unlike myself, believed Lowell was innocent.
Lauren: But he also claimed that the device used to blow up the bank was a confetti bomb.
Michael: Mm-hmm. And according to Sullivan, Lowell didn't even wanna detonate that.
Lauren: Hmm. Are there any leads as to who changed it for the real bomb?
Michael: No. For all we know, someone else in the group might've been trying to set him up. Anyway, Howie-- excuse me, Howard said that, uh, Lowell actually went back to the bank and tried to put a stop to the whole thing.
Lauren: This means that... you might actually get your father acquitted.
Michael: Yeah, at the very least it provides reasonable doubt.
Lauren: So what are you still doing here? I can't believe you're not over at the jail making his day.
