Daniel's trial with the law
We all know that Daniel had skipped bail with Lily Winters because he
was accused of Cassie's death. First of all, was he accused of
drinking and driving in the first place before he had his memory back,
or were they more concerned about Cassie? It made no sense going to
court now, after he was found innocent of Cassie's death and after
Lily had left town. They are still trying to beat the exact same horse
and not willing to give this case up. They need to think that it is
done and over with. I think the only reason why he had to go back is
because the judge is throwing his weight around and thinking that he
is god and he holds Daniel life in his hands. This makes him a
complete dick, idiot, and a jerk. Is he so jealous of Daniel because
Daniel is young and he had a fine-looking chick like Lily, that he
would actually punish Daniel for it? I think that Nick
resented Daniel in the first place because he thinks Daniel is above
the law. Or is he taking his grief about Cassie and making it all
Daniel's fault?
Also, what does Phyllis have to prove? Is she trying to make up for
all the times that she wasn't there for Daniel by not disciplining him
or even getting mad at him? Is she so afraid that if she does then
Daniel will run away again? I think it is more that Phyllis considers
herself as Daniel's friend and not as a parent to him, and she is
still trying to hold on to Daniel and make him her whole life. Well, I
say to her to get a life and left go. I think that Daniel is also
threatened that his mother embarrasses him, and that is why he told
her to stay out of it. She is way too much in the sack with her
so-called boyfriend, Jack, to even be there for Daniel. Did she ever
ask Daniel, "How was your day?" or spend time with Daniel when he is
not in trouble? Did she ever try to teach Daniel right from wrong or
how it is wrong to drink alcohol in the first place? Did she ever try
to lecture Daniel about the consequences that he can get by sleeping
with that girl, Lily? The last point I want to make is that if she
would learn to be a parent and had trusted Daniel in the first place
by letting him date Lily, Daniel would not be in so much trouble. All
of these things can mess up Daniel's life with her bad parenting.
Last, what is up with that lawyer, Christine
Blair? First of all, she didn't believe Daniel was actually innocent,
so how can she stand up for him? She is letting her own personal
feeling towards Daniel get in the way of her being his lawyer. I just
want to say this, that she needs to get real and be a better lawyer.
She didn't have all of the evidence to prove that Daniel was innocent.
Did she ever once try to question anyone with whom Cassie associated?
In addition, I want to add that I thought that Christine should handle
the case after Daniel was found not guilty, about him skipping bail.
In my opinion, she is still trying to hold on to Daniel when it
clearly shows that Daniel is not a saint.
