I am in a soap opera group and a lot of discussion has gone on about
Lily, Cane, and Chloe. I'm with everyone else that this storyline is beyond
ridiculous. In this day and time, people don't feel as forced to marry just
because someone is pregnant. In my line of work, I've seen a lot of messed
up kids. Most of this is due to their parents' influence. A lot of broken
families and men not stepping up to take care of children they really didn't
want. Why some women want to use children to get a man is crazy. No one
loses more than the child.
Chloe is wrong on so many fronts. The biggest is still this child won't
know who his/her real father is, because Chloe wants Cane. She knew he was
in love with Lily. She used the biggest obstacle, the loss of their baby
against them. Chloe was horrible to try to act like she was friends with
Lily, but used every opportunity to steal her man.
Most people can't feel sympathy for her relationship with Esther. Look
at how she's treated Esther since it was revealed that she was her mother.
A lot of people would have given their left arm to have gone to private
school paid for by a millionaire. Chloe is just ungrateful. It's still
unbelievable that she could have been in Genoa City all that time without
anyone figuring out who she was.
We want Lily and Cane back together and Chloe to be found out for the
lying, manipulative schemer she is. (I'm thinking much stronger names for
her!)
