First
of all, Y&R has to have more viewers now since Jill's birth mother
story. It was boring at times, but all in all I've enjoyed seeing
Jill interact with Charlotte. Jill's changing Charlotte for the
better (like quitting drinking). I think Katherine being Jill's mom
is a wonderful scenario. Sure it's a shock but a genius idea.
Writers had to change their past, but they made it work out for what I
would say is the most shocking storyline on Y&R yet! I think Jill
will be shocked and not believe Liz. Next she'll not want Katherine
to be her mother, esp. after learning how she was born, her history,
etc. She'll rant and rave! Katherine shouldn't be blamed for all
this. But she did have an affair which caused their lives to spin out
of control. Now Mac & Billy can't marry, and Jill & Brock will have a
hard time thinking about their marriage as brother & sister. The
maternal issue changes everything for all of them (forever)! I look
down on Charlotte for being a coward and not telling Jill the truth,
leaving things up to Liz to straighten out. John I give praises too
for knowing something's wrong and starting the spin cycle on their
lives. John's smart but he married Jill! I also praise Brad for
talking to J.T. about Colleen, Colleen standing up to Anita, J.T. for
telling his feelings about Colleen to Raul & feeling badly for what he
did with Anita, Brittany's thoughts about her mom & dad, Victor for
not taking advantage of Sharon in a bikini, and Sharon for standing up
to Nikki cause she's tired of her mouth! Has anyone seen Olivia
lately and her new man! Go Olivia! At least you're not after Brad!
Thanks Brad for getting Ashley to sleep in now! Oh yeah...and nice
date Victoria!
Now for
the negative issues...Nikki needs to keep quiet about Sharon & Nick,
as does Nick about Sharon & Victor. I mean...enough already! I agree
with Raul about the pink poodles on the wall at Fenmore's. Take them
away! What about the heads on the statues? At Victor's office is bad
enough, but Fenmore's needs heads to go with clothes on their
mannequins! More hats will do but do something! J.T. doesn't look
like he belongs there. Lauren doesn't give him good advice about
Colleen. I don't think J.T. needs Colleen back so please
Brittany...be quiet with her about this! He cheated so he'll probably
do it again! Dru should stop fighting with Ashley! I mean her B.P.
could rise and she may miscarry (the baby). What's wrong with you Dru?
And what's up with Sharon's bikini anyway? It's not my type! At
least it fit the seasonal colors. And BTW Anita, Colleen's not a
child. You are for sleeping with her man! This whole thing with
Tavia, NE, Jabot, Nick, Victor, Victoria, Jack, Nikki, Brad and other
people in this business stuff...well it's too much for me to keep up
with so I won't talk about it. But it would be wrong for Nick to be
head of NE's if he's an ally for Jabot. I'll be glad when Neil,
Phyllis, Ashley, and Dru stop fighting about Damon. I'm sure he's a
hot catch for either company, but get on with their storylines! My
opinion is Neil shouldn't marry Dru after she stole his business
card. Dru can't be trusted! I was surprised Lily doesn't agree with
the marriage since she used to complain about her life being messed up
with her parents apart. Make up your mind girl!
Well those are my rants & raves for the week ending
6/13/03. Some are the previous weeks though. Hope you enjoyed
