What an interesting week!
Seems like Damon has been hankering for one of those 8-hour orgasms Sting
once boasted about. I loved it when Dru found Phyllis’ panties hidden in the
couch. She did have some salient points for Damon to ponder regarding his
choice of lovers, although I doubt sucking up to Jack will help their
situation. Hell hath no fury than a Vanessa scorned.
I’m confused. Why would Brittany pick Raul Guttierezzzzzzz over Bobby?
Bobby’s about fun and enjoying life. Raul’s about being pious, 2.5 kids and
a regimented life. Mary Williams would adopt him in a second. I hope her
choice doesn’t mean the beginning of the end of John Enos’ run on the show.
Okay, last week I said Lily wouldn’t care much about Colleen’s California
dilemma. I was wrong. She pulled her head out of her rear end long enough to
have a good girl talk with her friend. I’ll be sorry to see Lyndsey Fonseca
go. She’s really made that character blossom into a strong individual. I
think she’s a very good actress who can hold her own with everyone on the
show, even The Great and Powerful Victor Newman. I wonder if they’re
bringing in a new Colleen because her and JT’s love life will be going up a
notch, and Lyndsey really is a teenager. Would be kind of creepy to see an
actor pushing 30 in bed with a teenager.
What can we say about Kneel? Is anyone ever going to tell him it isn’t
Victor’s face he’s kissing? He is the perfect puppet for Victor. He couldn’t
make a decision to save his life, so he wouldn’t get any ideas of going
against The Black Knight. They could re-enact the scene from Chicago when
Roxie Hart sits on her lawyer’s knee and mouths his words.
Genoa City needs a fallout shelter from Ice Princess and Ice Princess, Jr.
Ashley wants to cut Tuvia, so Jack, Brad, Damon and Dru have to deal with
the aftermath, and now the truth comes out about Abby and Victor – causing
them, Brad, Nikki, and the rest of the Newman clan to deal with that
aftermath. How does all this improve one’s mental health? (Other than the
fact that Dru will be out of her hair, of course.) I’m guessing a whole lot
of people will have wished she stayed a coat rack. I still find Abby to be
unusually cold about the whole thing, but I have to say having her spill the
beans was a pretty neat twist. Beats having some teary-eyed, melodramatic
scene. I’m sure they’ll come eventually, though. From Monday’s preview,
looks like Victor’s angry enough so
that we won’t have to turn up the volume on our television sets to hear him
speak.
