Well, it was a short
viewing week, but what a week! Damon and Phyllis get it on, Kevin will
at least spend the night in jail, Jill’s not too thrilled Daddy’s
moving in, and Esther lost all her money.
We got a little glimpse of Victor The Hermit on Monday. I’m guessing
that as part of his punishment, he’ll start a mentoring program for
youth at risk. His first victims, uh I mean, protégés? Kevin and
Little Danny Biceps.
Wasn’t it nice of Jill to take us on that trip down Memory Lane of a
buff pool boy/gardener Brad? <SIGH>.
At the beginning of the week when Jack told Damon to work his magic on
Ashley, I found it rather presumptuous of Damon to think he was to
seduce the woman. Obviously, the man knows he’s hot, but he has to be
scorching to melt that ice princess. Now Phyllis … Lucky, lucky girl!
But in the afterglow, she acted like this was something permanent.
Phyllis dear, if he didn’t take you up to his bedroom, he isn’t
serious. Don’t buy an extra toothbrush just yet. I was waiting for
Vanessa to come walking in at any time. If she finds out, she could
very well take her orchid discovery someplace else. Or has she turned
into one of these characters who goes upstairs never to come back
down?
Looks like Kevin has a bad case of forgetfulness if he can’t remember
going back to the club. I think some time in jail would be good for
him.
At first, I thought Jill was upset Arthur would end up with the same
fate as Phillip Chancellor – in a ditch with a drunk Katherine. But
based on the preview for next Monday’s show, she wants Daddy all to
herself. Give me a break! She enlists his help to get Mom off the
booze and she knows he still has the hots for Katherine, so what does
she expect? This whole experience has helped the character become more
mature but obviously, Jill needs to grow up some more. Just ask Arthur
not to bring up her conception on the couch anymore. It’s not a mental
picture we need.
Poor, poor Esther (literally)! It would be interesting to see her back
in the mansion, then Arthur will see that side of Jill Katherine has
been going on about. I’ve read rumours that it will be discovered Jill
and Katherine really aren’t mother and daughter. What a hoot it would
be to find out Esther is the real daughter!
