Good scenes with Elizabeth and Joshua. I love how he called her on the
she used to treat him--not that I didn't wholeheartedly support her thinking
of him as the "hired help." That's what he was, despite his superior
attitude. What I don't get is why she answers to him now. I know she doesn't
have to, but why isn't it the other way around? If Caleb has power over her
because he sired her, why doesn't she have any influence over Joshua? I
think it's interesting that they always use the term "turned" instead of
I also liked the scenes with Kevin. I wish we'd get the real Kevin back.
It annoys me to no end that Lucy gave up on him the way she did. I know he
gave her plenty of reasons to, but there were too many things that didn't
add up if she had just stopped to think about them. One of them is that she
knows that Dr. Fox played "Naked Eyes" for Kevin, and she's always had an
aversion to that song, but now she knows why. I wish she'd think about that
I was almost as surprised as Casey to hear that Ricky
knows about the vampires. I don't know why he didn't suspect Reese of
wanting to turn him, unless he knew and just didn't care. I really like
Casey and Ricky together. They're good for each other, and they light up
when they're together.
I enjoyed hearing Caleb put Joshua in his place--not
that it will do any good.
Does the band's name change make my concert t-shirt
obsolete? I'll still wear it, in any case. It's a great shirt! I wonder
whether they'll make a new logo to go with the new name.
They managed to gross me out first thing today. I hate to see people's
feet on my TV screen, and Lucy's were quite prominent. Seeing Ian rub one of
them along his chin was just too much.
Alison was in rare form today! She had me laughing so
hard. All her scenes were great, and I still can't believe how many
good lines she had. From the way she described Joshua to the "Dye your
roots" remark, it was fantastic. Joshua was also hilarious. I'm really
looking forward to more of his scenes.
Okay, what was with Alison? I know she was in a bad
mood, but that's no reason to lie. She did not see Jack "sucking
face" with Reese.
Loved the scene with Casey and Caleb. Didn't she learn
any other tricks in angel school?
At the beginning
of the show, Caleb adjusted the volume on the stereo. From the way he turned
the knob, he really cranked it up, but I didn't hear any difference at all.
I noticed that the captions had the wrong words to "Newborn
Okay, what was Kevin doing out there spying on the
others? How did he know they were there? He must have been following Lucy
everywhere. Either that or he was driving by, saw her car, and stopped.
Frank didn't act like a just man today. I know he
doesn't like Joshua, and I know he's having money problems, but I was
still surprised to see him take the money.
I can't believe Ricky would choose the band over Casey.
That's just wrong.
