Whitneyís reaction to Chadís death
Brook Kerr did a really good job with Chadís death scene this week.  She was in denial at first.  Our hearts were really going out to her when she had to beg the EMTs to try to save Chad.  She was convinced that Chad could be saved.  Unfortunately, that didnít end up happening.  He ended up dying anyway.  Whitney wasnít over the top with her grieving.  She managed to grieve quietly.  She didnít keep Theresa from worrying about Ethan while she was grieving.  Whitney even admitted how she refused to listen to Chad when he wanted to make up with her.  That probably made his death even worse for her.  Now she wonít have the chance to work things out with him.  We do think that Brook should have had more tears in her eyes when she was crying, but her subtle performance was still pretty good.

Theresa comforted Whitney
Theresa was worried about Ethan after he was poisoned, but she took the time to comfort Whitney.  Chad was killed by Alistair while he was trying to call the police.  Theresa actually walked away from Ethan (he was unconscious at the time), to be with Whitney.  That was really good of her to do.  We are really going to miss seeing them together on the show.

The writers kept Chadís death a secret
Chadís death was a complete surprise to us.  It wasnít mentioned in any of the spoilers that were printed in magazines or posted on the Internet.  That is very rare for Passions.  The writers usually let the wrong spoilers come out too soon (Alistair being the monk and Vincent being the blackmailer/Evianís child), but they didnít reveal this one.  We didnít even think that Chadís death was happening at first.  It was so unexpected.  Thumbs up to the writers for being able to keep us all in the dark about Chadís death.  They donít get the chance to surprise the audience very often so that was pretty good.

Eve and Julian went off on Sheridan
We loved watching them go off on Sheridan because she let Vincent die.  She lied to Evian and let them think that she didnít let him fall.  They didnít believe her for one minute.  Eve really went ballistic.  She ended up slapping Sheridan.  We loved that moment.  Sheridan purposely let Vincent fall over the cliff so she deserved to be slapped.
