week on Passions. What can I say about this week on Passions?
Oh, yeah. GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!!!!! I guess the writers
have no idea just how badly I hate their stupid dream sequences, because
they gave us the mother of all dream sequences this week, and I am not
the least bit happy about it. As a matter of fact, there are no words
I can use in decent conversation to describe just how unhappy I am with this
all know what I'm talking about, I know you do, since I'll bet most of you
were screaming at your TV just like me when Gwen woke up. This has to
be the worst use of dream footage in the history of this show, and that's
saying a lot. Oh, don't get me wrong, I had the feeling it was all
just someone's dream from the moment Ethan turned and yelled at Gwen that
she's a liar. It just didn't seem like him, you, know? He'd be
more likely to look at her with his disappointed puppy dog eyes and ask how
she could do such a horrible thing to him. Yelling is not his style at
guess it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't something that I wanted to
have happen so doggone badly for years. The truth should have been
brought out years and years ago, and yet it just continues as is, spinning
in space, while we all sit out here and wish it weren't so. How
pathetic are we, by the way? I wish we could just have a huge tuneout
to show them just how much we hate what they are doing. You know, just
everyone who watches the show should find something else to do on Monday or
something. Maybe we could all drown them with e-mails explaining why
we refuse to watch for that one day, hopefully forcing them to do what they
should have done all those years ago and let Ethan find out the truth.
rest of the week was mild, nothing major to complain about. The usual
Fancy stupidity, Theresa denial, Chad cheating, Chris lying, and Spike....
well, being Spike. Nothing major, nothing great, just the same old
stuff.... new week. I enjoyed the intervention Paloma and Simone
set up with Sam, Noah, and Kay, although I'm sure it will have no real,
lasting effect on Jessica.... or else it will end up being just another
whole Fancy thing was stupid, just another way to get her half naked, with
her bones poking out all over the place, and get Luis and her together in
bed. I tell you, it's sickening to have to watch these two trying to
be sexy together, because it just doesn't work. She and Noah - now,
that worked. Luis and Sheridan - we all know that worked.
But put those two together and you get pure "BLAH!" I just
keep wondering, too, how Fancy will be able to remain in the cadet program
after her blatant disregard for the rules yet again. The whole concept
of this dillatent even being considered for police work is ridiculous, and
they really need to ditch it quickly, along with the Fancy/Luis pairing.
These stories just don't pass the smell test.
couple that is about as exciting to watch as oatmeal boiling is Theresa and
Jared. Who on earth ever thought those two clicked? I swear,
watching them "making love" this week was almost torture.
I've seen more heat between to ice cubes than I saw with these two this
week. Honestly, when she began her loud moaning, which Ethan heard in
the next room, I kept asking myself what the heck she was moaning about?
I even considered Jared might have rolled onto her arm, pinning it in a
position that made her moan from pain, because there was absolutely nothing
going on between those two that could possibly have generated that much
enjoyment. Well, come to think of it, after her love life with
Alistair, I guess anything might be better for her. But then, she and
Ethan just showed what real chemistry is a couple weeks ago, so that can't
will we ever get to see exactly who Chad is knoddling with in that seedy
motel? If it turns out to be Valerie I am going to be the most
disappointed person in town, because it will be another "take the easy
way out" ending to a story that could be good, if handled correctly.
I don't care if it's a down low outting or just a hetero pairing that rocks
our world, I just want something really good to come of it. The whole
thing makes no sense whatsoever in the first place, so the outcome had
better be something worth the destruction of yet another super couple on
this show. Let him be with Pilar or something, just not Valerie!
That would be a real shock, and make it worth our while.
needs to die. Just as simple as that, he needs to die. There is
no reason for keeping him on the show, since he's disgusting and only makes
me want to change the channel while he's on. Alistair, for all his
evilness, still had a fun side to him that kept us liking him just enough to
make him a good character. Spike has nothing going for him.
Nothing. He's not even good-looking enough to make us want to see him
no matter what he's doing. They have simply left the creep no room to
wriggle his way into our hearts, and he really needs to go.
on the other hand, can stick around a while longer. Don't get me
wrong, I don't want he and Sheridan to stay together, but if they keep him
around to make trouble for Luis after he and Sher get back together, that's
fine with me. I think he's gorgeous, and there is a part of him that
is lovable, so he'd be a great anti-hero to have around for a while.
loved Tabitha's sweet talk with Kay this week. She really did try to
comfort her cohort, and even stroked her cheek like a loving aunt or Granny,
whichever, and I loved seeing it. We've known she has a heart in her
witchy chest since Timmy was around, and now we got to see just how loving
that heart really can be, even to someone other than her own little girl.
I just wish she would have kept her nose out of Kay and Fox's business and
let Miguel go on about his way. She could have had all her problems
over and done with had she encouraged him to join up with Siren, yet she
insisted on pushing him at Kay. I really hated that, even tho I adore
wasn't a whole lot more to talk about this week. It was another week
where not much happened- well, in reality, that is - and nothing stood out
about any of it. The dream being the exception, of course. I
kind of liked Kay's "Wonderful Life" take-off, although I do wish
they'd had her go see her family living without ever having had her, and
also if Endora's tricks on the girlfriends-that-might-have-been for Fox and
Miguel had been a bit more imaginative. Ok, she messed their hair up
and tore their clothes.... big whoop! They could have done so much
more with this, such as making them fat, or giving them pimples all over
their faces, and that would have made it a better twist to the story.
But, such as it was, it added something fun to the show, and that's always a
