Michele and Cheryl's
12/26/05 - 12/30/05
Since this is the end of the year, we decided to do a Best
column for the Raves. We hope you enjoy them. See if you agree
Ethan/Theresa/Gwen: we know many of you are tired of
this story, but it keeps us entertained. No other story has us
screaming at the television like this one. It also sparks so many
debates on the message boards.
Alistair: He is doing a pretty good job convincing
us that he is a despicable man. John Reilly is a great addition to
the show. It was as if the role was meant for him to play.
Gwen: She went through a lot this year and she did a
great job playing up her grief. She deserved an Emmy nomination when
she found out Jane wasn't hers.
Scene Stealer: (Tie)
Endora: She does a good job with her scenes with
Tabitha. Her thought bubbles are funny. She's the cutest
little thing so it makes it easier to enjoy her scenes. It doesn't
really say much for the other actors on the show, does it? We enjoy
a baby's scenes better than some of the adults.
Rebecca: We can always count on Rebecca to give us a
laugh. She can say some of the most hateful things, but they still
come out funny.
Best Plot Twist:
Simone being a lesbian: We liked this twist because
it finally gave Simone a story. We also didn't see it coming until
it was spoiled. Hopefully the writers will pick it up again since
they pretty much dropped it.
Shuis finding out about Marty: It took such a long
time for this to come out. the story played out well and it lead to
an adventure story.
Theresa and Gwen: They work very well together.
No matter whose side you're on, you have to admit that they work well
Tabitha: It's no surprise that she was the one
picked for this category. She is the only mother on the show who is
always with her daughter. It doesn't say much for the others that a
witch is the best mother.
Theresa and Whitney: Even though Theresa and Whitney
didn't have too many scenes together this year, we still think they are
the better friends on the show. They are always there for each other
whether they approve of what the other is doing or not. Whitney proved
that by standing up for Theresa during her marriage to Alistair when
Beth: She made the impossible happen: She made
us root for her to get away with Marty. Sheridan was being so
annoying in this storyline that it made it easier to root for Beth.
That's all for this week. Feel free to come up with
your own Best of 2005 list.
