Michele and Cheryl's
9/5/05 – 9/9/05
We didn't really have much this week, but we didn't want
to disappoint you so we came up with something anyway.
We can't even begin to tell you how glad we were to see
Eve's storyline picked up again. It was such a refreshing change from
seeing Sheridan and Theresa's stories all of the time. We still had to see
their stories this week (they are JER's favorites), but at least they
weren't the only stories this week. Eve's story can be a good one if the
writers would only give it a chance. In the six years that the show has
been on, the writers have never done a storyline with an actual trial.
Sure, there have been quick hearings and custody battles, but nothing like
this. You might be thinking that Theresa had a trial, but that was
different. It wasn't drawn out and it wasn't that good to us. It was over
too fast since Alistair paid the judge to rush it. Hopefully that won't
happen with this story. We read spoilers that Julian and TC are going to
testify during Eve's trial. Hopefully someone on the stand will reveal a
juicy secret to the audience. There are a few other good things about this
*It's an umbrella story. Since Theresa and Sheridan's
stories dominate the show, most of the cast disappear. This storyline will
involve people who don't get a chance to be onscreen that much anymore.
*Ethan will finally get a chance to do something besides
jam his tongue in Theresa's mouth. He can prove whether he is a good
lawyer or not.
*It's not a triangle story. It gives the writers a chance
to do a different type of story.
We know we were talking about a story that didn't involve
Theresa, but now we do have to talk about her story. Pilar knows that
Theresa was raped. We liked how she ripped into Theresa for being with
Alistair. Now we know that Theresa's fans will cry foul and say that Pilar
was wrong for what she said, but she was right. Theresa was wrong for what
she said, but she was right. Theresa is practically selling her body to
steal a married man.
Even though we didn't have much to rave about, it was
still a pretty decent week. We know that because if we have to scream at
the television, it's a good week. We can tell you loyal readers, there was
plenty of screaming going on this week.
