Well, I think I'm going to talk about something that has
been bothering me all week. I know when Charity was praying for Kay
and Miguel's baby, she said if God would save the baby, she would give
Miguel up. So why is she still there? It's been a couple of
weeks, and not only is she not leaving him alone, she is making dates with
him!! Why? Does she really think she can promise God something
and then forget about it? She's supposed to be so pure, innocent,
and righteous, yet she lies to God. It doesn't make much sense to
me. She should just leave. You know, no good-bye, no
tears, no refusing to stay with Miguel no matter how much he begs her
to....just leave. Don't take his phone calls, don't answer the door
to him, don't read his letters or his e-mail. That's what any normal
person would do under the circumstances, don't you think? I mean,
lying to the Big Guy Upstairs is not a good thing to do!! Or maybe
I'm just taking things too literally. All I know is, if I promised
God I would do something, I would do it or die trying.
As for the rest, everything is still the same, mostly.
Well, now we know that Sheridan's baby is breech. At least that's
what Charlie thinks. I wonder it it's true? We already know
she knows nothing about it, so maybe she's just mistaken. I don't
know. What I do know is I am so tired of all this. How can no
one hear Sheridan screeching? Still!!! I know, I keep asking
that, but it's just so unbelievable, especially with everyone there now.
And the door was open, too. Man, I wish the writers would at least
try to get somewhat real with this show.
I think the baby shower was a good idea, but it would be
better if someone would stumble on the truth while they are there.
Oh well, I guess we have to be happy for whatever crumbs they decide to
give us and keep quiet. But that's not easy for me. I am a
complainer by birth, and I totally hate things that don't make sense.
I guess I've made that pretty clear, haven't I? Well, I just can't
stand it! I want people who have brains to act like they do. I
want writers to at least make an attempt to fit common sense into
consideration while writing these shows. As it is now, I am fast
forwarding quite a bit of the show because I just am not the least bit
interested in more of the same. I refuse to watch the L.A. scenes,
since it's just more of the same old Theresa-wants-Ethan, Gwen-be-damned
stuff we are all too familiar with mixed with those boring daydreams Fox
keeps having. This story promised to be a good one, with a lot of
new stuff and some good predicaments for the characters to get into, but
that hasn't panned out so far. Where's the new stuff? Where's
the interesting stories? When is Fox ever going to wake up and start
living the life he has instead of dreaming about the one he doesn't?
I mean, you don't get what you want by dreaming about it all the time.
I am almost tired of the Kay/Miguel story, too. And
the Tabby/Endora one, too. It's kind of the same old stuff and needs
some pumping up to catch my attention again. Kay is scheming, Miguel
is clueless, Charity is trying to worm her way out of keeping her promise,
and Simone is still so annoying it's grating on my nerves!! Now
Tabitha and Endora are getting old, too, and that just takes all the fun
out of their scenes. Even that cute little baby can't save those
scenes anymore. Tabby, we expected more from you, dear. Hey,
why don't you zap the writers, or better yet, let one of Endora's
lightening balls loose on them and get some really good scripts going!!
Now, that would make me happy, and I have to think it would make the rest
of the fans happy, too.
We have gotten to see a little more of Hank and Pilar
lately, and that's always a good thing. Hunky Hank brightens up any
day, and Pilar can be a great asset, too. True, there have been
times when I just wanted to put my hand over her mouth and keep her quiet,
but now that the Antonio story is on the back burner, she is a joy to
watch again. Precious had gotten good at doing her rolls, too.
Has anyone else noticed how she is doing a lot of them now? Do you
think it's because she's bored, too? Hmmmmm. I wouldn't be
surprised. She sure did a job on the punch, didn't she? LOL!!
I wonder what was in it? But I was hoping when she got a hold of the
note Charlie sent to Beth she would go wandering out to the living room
and give it to Luis, but it didn't happen. Too bad. It would
have been a great touch, and it would have ended this lousy saga once and
for all! Nah, that would have been too easy. But it would have
Ok, I can't think of a way to complain about any of the
other scenes I've watched this week so I guess that's it for now. I
am waiting impatiently for the week when I can write this column and fill
it with only good, happy reviews. Do you think I'm asking for
too much? Oh, well. Until that happens, I will be here every
week telling you how much I hate what the writers are doing, I guess.
But......one can always hope, right?
