Michele and Cheryl's Rave #35

11/10 -11/14/03

In case you didn't read this in the rants section, we decided to do things a little differently this week.  We are going to rave about the show throughout the week instead of daily.

There was actually some movement in two stories this week.  There was also an unexpected twist.  We'll get to those things in a bit.

In no particular order:

Fox:  He is a better person than Julian gives him credit for.  He could have flipped out on TC when he accused him of being up to something when he saved everyone's life.  He chose to remain calm.

Luis:  He told Beth to shut up.  That had to be one of the greatest moments...well at least in our opinion.  The look on her face was so priceless.  She should have kept her mouth shut about the baby and she wouldn't have had to be told that.

Another good thing he did was not listen to Beth when she didn't want the baby to go to the hospital.  He put his foot down and told her that the baby was going to the hospital.

Kay:  We loved how Kay told Grace the way she felt about her.  Grace deserved to hear it in our opinion.  Granted if he ever spoke to our mother the way she did, we wouldn't be able to write this. Our mother wouldn't speak of us the way Grace did to Kay so that's why we wouldn't talk to our mother that way.

Sam:  He didn't want Grace to insult Kay the way she did.  He proved once again that he genuinely cares about Kay.

That brings us to how he defended Grace to Kay.  He stopped her from getting smart with Grace. Even though we agreed with Kay, she did go too far and Sam let her know.

Let's get to the movements in two stories:

Grace finally made a decision between Sam and David.  It took her forever to make the decision.  She said at the beginning of Friday's episode that she made a decision yet it took her the entire episode to say it.  Anyway, let's get back to the rave before it sounds like a rant.  We didn't necessarily want her to choose David, but at least there was some movement in the story.

Antonio figuring out that Luis and Sheridan are in love.  He even realized that Shuis were trying to tell him the truth all along and he was too blind to see it.  We could have told him that, but he wouldn't have heard it. LOL  Hopefully he won't go back to being clueless again.

Let's talk about the shocking twist.  We were actually surprised by this twist.  We had no idea that (Possible spoiler. Don't read if you haven't seen it.) Charlie was Alistair.  We figured it out at the beginning of Thursday's episode, but we didn't suspect that before.  The writers really came through with the twist.  We did have problems with the twist.  If you haven't read the rants, you can go there to read about our problems with the twist.
