Viki: The thing about your mother is that she's really a child who never grew up. And at times, that can be very charming, but it's not a lot of fun to be the child of a child.

Sarah: Sometimes I feel like I'm her mother.

Viki: I'm sure you do. Her childish nature has led her to make some very bad mistakes, and she has caused serious, serious harm to a lot of people. Most of the time, without actually meaning to do it, you know? I don't know if it's any comfort at all, but I think that she's doing the best that she can.

Sarah: Unfortunately, her best is not very impressive.
