Roxanne: Isn't there supposed to be air conditioning in the summer?

Jared: This place is air conditioned?

Roxanne: Yeah, well, once upon a time. But the service department is going to be here -- in a couple of weeks. I guess you're looking for your father.

Jared: Yeah.

Roxanne: Well, he went to find a real fan, because it's a lot hotter up there.

Jared: Then I guess I'll wait down here.

Roxanne: Man, you know, if I were in your shoes I'd be spending a lot of time at Llanfair. I'd be taking a dip in that old pool.

Jared: Yeah.

Roxanne: So tell me something. What does it feel like, living with a woman who blames you for her husband's death?

Jared: Oh, it's just great. You know, one big unhappy family.
