Langston: I'm sorry, that was so rude. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

Starr: Well, Langston, your parents are -- I know that everything really sucks for you right now.

Langston: Big-time.

Starr: But my mom meant what she said. Don’t you -- don’t you want to live with us?

Langston: Yeah -- how could I not? But it’s your family. I mean, it’s one thing to stay over and hang out and stuff, but to move in permanently?

Starr: It’s better than living in a foster home.

Langston: It so is. I'm just freaking out right now. I -- I woke up this morning and I was like, "I can’t do this. I can’t live like this."

Starr: Is that why you cut school and wanted to take off?

Langston: Now I just feel like I'm in the way. That’s why I didn’t say anything about my parents. I don’t want someone who isn’t my mom and dad telling me what to do, and I don’t want to be a bother.

Starr: Ok, now you're just being a pain.

Langston: Oh.
