Phillip: You know, legally you can't keep me here.

Alan: No, but Governor Young can. He made a psychiatric evaluation, a condition on your prison release.

Phillip: I agreed to an evaluation.

Alan: Yes, but when he found out that you were going to start back at Spaulding, for political reasons he felt a full psychiatric examination was needed. He was not going, for political reasons, to release you into the public to deal with people until he knew that you were fully recovered.

Phillip: I wonder who reminded him of that.

Alan: I want to believe you're well.

Phillip: Oh, I'm well. I'm as well as any member of this family can be.

Alan: Well, then, son, you have nothing to be afraid of.

Reva: I'm sorry I got sicker.

Jeffrey: Me, too. I'm sorry.

Reva: But I had to do it. Edmund was going to hurt our baby.

Jeffrey: I know. I'm proud of you. I just wish there could have been some other way. You know, I have seen and done a lot of scary things in my life, but seeing you this sick is probably the most frightening thing that I have ever been through. So you need to stay put, you understand?

Reva: Yes.

Jeffrey: Stay put for me and for Colin. We need you.

Dinah: Well, if they don't know now they're going to eventually find out, and the first thing they're going to look at is this interview. So whatever we say today, we're going to have to stick by that story.

Marina: We went through a list of questions that we thought that they might ask.

Mallet: And every answer makes us look real bad.

Dinah: Yeah, if you tell them the truth. Isn't that why you called me, because you need a liar?

Marina: We need your help.

Mallet: One last time.

Dinah: Look, whatever we come up with today, nothing is going to make you guys come out looking clean. So somebody is going to have to take the fall. And that's going to have to be me.
