Lizzie: I'm sorry you did, too. But I'm not sorry that you got rid of Grady. I didn't want him to die, but what he did to me was really terrible. I don't think I ever could have gotten over it if I didn't know he was really gone. ( Cell phone rings )

Phillip: Hello? Yes, speaking. I'll be there in 30 minutes. Verdict's in.

Lizzie: Dad?

Phillip: Your Honor, I'm truly sorry for what happened. I understand the need for consequences, and I accept whatever they are.

Judge: When you left this town, you left a path of destruction in your wake, and yet all of these people came forward to defend you. You're to be applauded for the way you've turned your life around.

Phillip: Thank you, your Honor.

Judge: However, this is a court of law, and I am obligated to make a determination of the facts. And the fact is, you did try to abduct your children and take them away from their mothers. Therefore, I have no choice but to find you guilty on all counts. You are to be remanded into custody pending sentencing. This court is adjourned.
