Marina: Maybe he's doing it for Daisy.

Mallet: What, for love?

Marina: Look, I'm not being a girl, I'm just saying.

Jeffrey: Is that going to be a problem for you?

Marina: Why would it be a problem?

Jeffrey: Well, he's Cyrus' brother.

Marina: He killed my best friend.

Jeffrey: Yeah, well, just saying.

Marina: Look, I'm out of all this, all right? As far as I'm concerned, let them both rot.

Cassie: You can leave now.

Reva: Not yet. So, Josh knows?

Cassie: Yes, he knows. I told him. I... I thought that he would be able to forgive me and that we could move on, but we can’t. We're stuck in this really terrible place, and I just... I need to figure out how to let go of my past.

Reva: You can’t. You can't escape your past; it's always there. It's a part of you. My past is always there, whispering in my ear. But I'm a fighter, and I'm going to fight for the life I want to have. You fought. You fought for Josh. You chose him over me, and that nearly destroyed me, Cassie. But I picked myself up, and I made a life for myself after that. A life with Jeffrey. And I'm damn well going to fight to keep that life. You cheated on your husband, and now you look at me like you think I should be able to fix it? I can’t. I won’t. This is your problem to solve.

Jeffrey: Well, a little physical therapy. Doctor's orders.

Reva: The doctor said "start small." Like soup cans. What is this?

Jeffrey: I ate all the soup.

Reva: Why don't you follow orders?

Jeffrey: Oh, like you do? I... I need to be in good shape for court, Reva.

Reva: Well, let me help you. ( Laughs ) Here, try again. With these.

Jeffrey: But that's a girl's weight.

Reva: Tens. They're tens.

Jeffrey: What if someone sees me?

Reva: Then you can flash that big, old macho bullet wound you have in your chest.

Cassie: Actually, I... I thought it was time I help you. You have been there for me so much. After Tammy died, I was so lost and I had no hope, I had no faith. I couldn't even imagine the future. But you could. And you told me that you had enough faith for both of us; that your faith was so strong that it could carry us both. And now it's my turn.

Josh: You don't believe what I do.

Cassie: No, I don’t. You believe in a merciful God, and I just don't think I can. But I do have faith... in us, in our marriage, in our vows.

Josh: How can you say that, though, after... what you did?

Cassie: Jeffrey said something to me about thinking that I still want the fairy tale. I don’t. I don't believe that life is a fairy tale. Life can be awful and cruel and almost unbearable. But the miracle is that somehow it can still be good. And I learned that because of you. Because of us. More than anything, I believe in us. Even if you can't right now, I can. Now, I have enough faith for both of us.
