when Mayor Floyd is arrested for the murder of his mistress - and announces that
he had an affair with DA Alexis. Alexis isn’t the only one caught in the
aftermath, as Kristina is humiliated by her mother’s indiscretion. With Sam,
Robin, Patrick and Spinelli on the case, new evidence arises by week’s end that
could vindicate the mayor - but if he’s not guilty, who is?

agreement about Michael.

points the finger at a different murder suspect. Carly panics when she finds out
what Michael is up to.
SOW 7/7/09
Alexis vs. Everyone! Alexis holds a press conference to address her affair
with the mayor, but that doesn’t stop her from feeling pressure on all sides
this week. The DA pledges that murder suspect Floyd will not get preferential
treatment. Alexis slept with Floyd when she had cancer and found out that Sam
and Ric were sleeping together. Kristina calls her mother a hypocrite. But
Alexis is the angry one when she finds Kristina with Michael at Jake’s, but
Alexis doesn’t bar Kristina from her brother. Alexis asks that Michael come over
to the house and hang out with supervision because Michael isn’t making safe
choices, but Kristina is leading a double-life that Alexis has no idea about.
Alexis shouldn’t look to Sonny for help with their wild child because when
informed of his son’s jaunt to Jake’s, Sonny says that it isn’t a big deal that
Michael likes to play pool in a bar.
**What’s Jumping In July** Olivia will go to desperate measures to keep Dante
away from Sonny - especially when she finds out that he is working for Sonny.
This will cause a huge rift in Dante and Olivia’s relationship. Meanwhile, Sonny
makes a full-court press for Olivia, despite her growing closeness with Johnny.
Just when it looks like Olivia may give in to her feelings for Sonny, a
devastating accident changes everything. Kristina and Michael will be involved
in a tragic event that takes them on the road away from Port Charles. Jason and
Sam will work together to track them down, which will bring them closer. Expect
things to get hot for everyone’s favorite adventure couple. One of the most
beloved characters will become the prime suspect in the murder of the mayor’s
mistress and Robin makes it her mission to clear this person’s name, while
Patrick supports her decision. Ethan is not willing to lose Rebecca, and
threatens to tell Nikolas everything. Spinelli and Maxie’s relationship will
finally be defined as a romance this summer!
Dominic is really Dante! The reveal comes when he “kidnaps” his mother,
Olivia. Dominic Zamprogna tells us what it is like to be the new young gun in
town. Dante has been calling himself “Dominic” and apparently serving as
Claudia’s personal attack dog. Olivia doesn’t know that he is a mobster. Dante
sneaks up on his mother and grabs her as a joke. Dante finds a watch and asks if
she is seeing someone and asks her not to tell him that it is Sonny. Dante knows
that Sonny runs the town, but doesn’t know that Sonny is his father.
This Week: Rebecca worries that an increasingly unstable Ethan will spill the
beans. Robin develops a new theory about who killed Brianna. A chaste Spinelli
tries to keep a seductive Maxie at arm’s length. Sonny reaches a decision about
Michael’s living arrangements.
Can’t Miss: Jax and Claudia attempt to blackmail each other on 6/30.

Carly’s Shocking Decision! Since Michael awoke from his coma a few weeks ago,
the Quartermaine clan has been intent on reclaiming their rightful heir. His
mom, Carly, had Michael move back in with her, but when a mob incident occurs
this week, she reconsiders what is best for her son. Michael sneaks out to go to
his dad’s house, but Morgan decides to follow him and is taken hostage by
Dominic, a hired gun. Unbeknownst to the participants, Claudia hired Dominic to
take out Jason, but much like her other hit attempts, the plan goes horribly
awry. However, the hostage crisis does manage to unite Michael and Carly. After
the standoff is solved, Michael decides that his best course of action is to
follow in his father’s footsteps and join the mob. Needless to say, his family
doesn’t concur. And Carly’s next decision is a shocker: With her son unable to
establish roots with either his mother or father, she decides that he should
live with the Quartermaines. Once he is there, Michael finds himself lured by
the history and the money. Patriarch Edward then ups the stakes by telling Jason
that Michael would be more comfortable if he returned to the home that he had
turned his back on.

Mac Arrests Mayor For Murder! Scandal reigns when Mac elects to arrest Mayor
Garrett Floyd for the murder of his mistress Brianna this week, but the cagey
politician has one more dirty trick up his sleeve. For a politician, Floyd
obviously did a poor job of convincing amateur sleuths Robin and Patrick that he
loved the late Brianna Hughes. The Drs. Drake and Scorpio perform their own
investigation and decide that Brianna was murdered. Now, they just have to
convince Mac and Alexis to arrest the leader of Port Charles. Even though she
would appear to be an aggrieved party, Andrea Floyd may be her husband’s best
hope. Mayor Floyd is determined to make his tormentors as unhappy as he is. And
Floyd is the true master when it comes to revenge.
Michael literally pushes his mother away this week - only to be pulled closer
when the going gets tough. Drew Garrett gives us a feel for why Michael is so
touchy. Jax has to physically stop Michael from hurting his mother. Michael
flares up at his mom and Jax instinctively reacts to protect Carly and contain
Michael. Michael shoves Carly and she falls on the couch, so Jax pins Michael on
the couch until he agrees to calm down and relax. Michael takes a moment to
apologize to Morgan. When Michael leaves, Morgan jumps out the window too and
runs into a stranger in the woods. Carly later contacts Michael and tells him
that his brother is missing. Michael feels guilty and enlists Carly in the
search. They start on opposite ends of the woods and look for Morgan. Eventually
it goes down twisted and Morgan, Carly and Michael end up captured by a Zacchara
gunman named Dominic, but Carly talks him into letting them all go. After the
drama, Michael mixes it up with Jason, who doesn’t want him getting involved in
the mob. Michael doesn’t listen to a word Jason says and tries to talk to Johnny
about it because he knows that Johnny works for Sonny. Apparently, Johnny
doesn’t encourage Michael either because he says that he won’t be responsible
for Michael getting shot again. Jason picks up on the admission of guilt, but
Michael is too preoccupied with the idea of having a new career next to his
father. Michael gets into an explosive fight with Sonny about joining his crew.

Michael isn’t hearing him.

Spinelli over Maxie this week. Matt is spoiling for trouble after Brianna Hughes
died on his operating table. Matt decides to collect on the date that he feels
Maxie owes him, but she declines since she is with Spinelli. Spinelli tries to
stand up for Maxie. Matt takes out his pent-up aggression on Spinelli, sending

Rebecca is Emily’s Twin! It’s a one-two punch this week when it’s revealed
that Rebecca is Emily’s twin sister - and she’s been sleeping with Ethan. After
Alexis digs up the fact that Rebecca is Emily’s twin, she presents it to
Nikolas, who refuses to believe that Rebecca is aware of her lineage. Rebecca
was basically sold on the black market and in her mind, Emily was the lucky one.
A funny thing happened on the way to the scam, however, when Rebecca fell for
Nikolas, the intended mark. It wasn’t part of the plan, just like a surprise
return from Helena, who becomes privy to the plot. As the town reels after
learning of Rebecca’s connection to Emily, Livingston reports that she has known
all along.
Kathryn Condidorio appears beginning 6/10 as Brianna Hughes, the mayor’s

secret.
SOW 6/16/09
Dominic Zamprogna appears on 6/22 as Dominic.
Two secrets are revealed about Rebecca this week: She had a twin (Emily), and
she has a partner in crime (Ethan). Natalia Livingston confides to us why
Rebecca’s scam makes the story twice as nice. Rebecca had a twin sister who was
given up for adoption to a loving, extremely wealthy family, while she was
basically sold. Rebecca is looking to get what is hers from the Quartermaines.
Nikolas was probably part of the plan, but now it is getting complicated because
Rebecca has started having genuine feelings for him. Ethan and Rebecca met in
the airport lounge on their way into Port Charles and they hit it off there.
Ethan is very skilled at being a con man and helping her by using those skills.
Rebecca is going to give Ethan a percentage. Rebecca has a huge emotional
reaction when Nikolas confronts her with proof that she is Emily’s twin. Nikolas
mistakes this reaction for genuinely not knowing that she had a twin sister, but
really she is shocked and angry at the fact that he knows. Rebecca rushes to
Jason with the news because she wants to talk to him before he finds out from
anyone else. Helena isn’t happy to overhear Rebecca and Ethan’s plot because she
wants Rebecca to be working with her to scam Nikolas.
