The Firstborn Identity! Sonny shoots Dominic - then learns he's his son!
Moments after gunshots rip the air, Olivia bursts into Sonny's home and finds
the most horrific sight imaginable. It's at the moment that Olivia informs
Sonny that he just shot his own kid. Olivia rips into Sonny for what he has
done, while a stunned Sonny says that if he had known the truth, this never
would have happened. Sonny calls for help and Dominic is rushed to GH. Just
before he goes into surgery, Sonny tells Dominic that they are father and son,
which upsets Olivia. News of the shooting spreads like wildfire. Frantic when
Dominic's a no-show at Josslyn's christening, Lulu rushes to Sonny's house to
find a bloody mess. Lulu returns to the christening, where she demands an
explanation from Jason. The crowd is stunned to hear Lulu's accusation that
Sonny killed Dominic because he's an undercover cop. Jason swears that he has
no idea what happened, but his first move is to find Sonny. As Dante undergoes
surgery, Jason arrives at the hospital to tell Sonny that they need to get him
out of the country, but Corinthos refuses to leave his newfound son. Just then,
Ronnie and the PCPD arrest Sonny for Claudia's murder and drag him out of the
hospital. Lulu gets to the hospital and lays into Sonny as he's being hauled
off. Olivia informs Lulu that Dante was asking for her earlier and later, when
Dante's eyes flicker open, Lulu tells him how much she loves him. Slowly, Dante
wakes up and mentions hearing that Sonny is his father, but believes it was just
a dream. Lulu breaks the news that Sonny is actually Dante's dad, leaving him
reeling. Afterward, Olivia learns that her son is awake and rushes to be at his
side. Sonny decides to listen to Carly and Jason and flee the country upon his
release, but when the time comes, Sonny can't go through with it. Risking his
freedom, Sonny returns to GH to see his son.

victim's mother.
Dante at Death's Door! Dante clings to life this week after being shot by
Sonny, but can he withstand the shock of another life-changing revelation - that
his own father tried to murder him in cold blood? Naturally, Olivia hovers at
this bedside because she has something important to discuss: Sonny is his
father! Dante's reaction is anger. Meanwhile, Jason and Sonny are concerned
with making sure Dominic never sees another sunrise. Sonny even contemplates
fleeing Port Charles. Dante also has a decision to make - and he declines to
press charges against the man who shot him. Dante is pretty convinced that his
arrest warrant is going through and that Sonny is going to jail for life and he
doesn't think being shot will add to the pile. Dante may want to rethink his
position, since Sonny has slithered out of tighter jams before - and has the
advantage this time of being truly innocent of killing Claudia.
**February Sweeps** Sonny's not going to be pleased to find out that Dominic
has been his kid all along and Olivia will have to pay for that. Michael could
certainly use someone to talk to in a romantic sense and will get someone.
Dante and Lulu's romance is almost going to be Romeo and Juliet, in the sense of
"two against the world." The Franco thing has not gone away and the story will
continue even before he comes back. Luke will be forced to confront his own
parenting skills - or lack thereof - because Luke has known about Nikolas and
Elizabeth's affair. Jax and Carly have overcome so much, but he has lied to her
for a long time and it will be tough for Carly. Lisa is, in some ways, the flip
side of the same coin as Patrick. Robin and Lisa become friends and the story
will be very prominent this year.

arrest Sonny, with whom Olivia has a special friendship. Agent Rayner tips
Dante off that the FBI intends to move on Sonny. Ronnie is glad when the
warrant comes through, but Dominic has mixed feelings. Dominic decides to delay
arresting Sonny until after Josslyn’s christening, so Sonny can enjoy having his

the crossfire is love interest Lulu. Unbeknownst to Dominic, Olivia tips off
Sonny that something’s amiss by suggesting that he consider leaving the

Since descending on Port Charles, the artist known as Franco has made serious
waves. He’s got the town’s top hit man in a tizzy and its favorite fashion
plate in a tailspin. As Sam and Jason search Franco’s art studio, they’re left
with no doubt that he and the vagrant who witnessed the shoot-out are one and
the same – and that Franco sent Jason the photos of Claudia’s corpse. As they
try to figure out Franco’s motives, Jason and Sam are unaware that they’re being
watched. Suddenly, the door to the studio opens and Jason has his gun at the
ready. Maxie arrives at Franco’s studio after catching a glimpse of the address
while she was with Spinelli. Jason informs her that he hasn’t seen Franco yet.
After looking around, Maxie is unnerved as she realizes how unhinged Franco
really is. Meanwhile, Carly is having second thoughts about her part in
covering up Michael’s role in Claudia’s death and voices her concern to Jax.
Jax doesn’t want Michael to do hard time and is perfectly happy to pin the crime
on Sonny. Armed with a hidden recording device, Jax succeeds in getting Sonny
to incriminate himself in Claudia’s murder, as Corinthos cops that Claudia is,
indeed, dead and buried, and the police will never find her Jax takes the tape
and plays it for Dominic. Back at Franco’s studio, Jason is forced to abandon
his stakeout after getting word that Michael is acting up at Jake’s. As Michael
begins to mouth off, Jason arrives and stops him from implicating himself in
Claudia’s murder. Unfortunately for Michael, Lucky is within earshot when he
talks smack. Jason heads back to the studio, where he and Franco meet in
person. Franco taunts Jason, says that he has been following his career for a
while and states that they are both artists. Jason is disturbed – especially
