Dr. Kelly Lee
Played by Minae Noji
She was briefly played by Gwendoline Yeo in 2006 and has been played by Minae
Noji since 2006.
Kelly has long been a fairly minor character on the show. She got a lot more
airtime on "General Hospital Nightshift" when it aired. She admitted to having a
sex addiction and slept with most of the men in the hospital.
Mostly Kelly is the OB/GYN that every woman on the show seems to go to,
especially if they are pregnant. The old OB/GYN was Dr. Meadows, an older woman
who got in trouble and had to resign.
Kelly was good friends with the other young female doctors, particularly Robin
and Lainey, as well as nurses Epiphany and Elizabeth. She, Lainey, and Robin
were roommates for a while, until Robin moved in with Patrick.
Kelly seems very even-tempted, but Claudia annoyed her with her rudeness. She
helped Sam in 2011 when Sam wanted to get pregnant. She talked to Sam about
having fertility reconstruction and then performed the procedure. This allows
Sam to carry a baby to term. Sam discovered in 2012 that she is pregnant, so
Kelly is helping her out with all of her prenatal needs, including two DNA
tests.
Not too much is known about Dr. Lee or her family.
