The Return of the Vixens
With all the back stabbing and screwing around and malicious intent
swirling around General Hospital these days, it is a wonder why Carly held
the vixen reign for so long. Carly has long been the one we look for to come
up with some devious plot to ruin someoneís life or seek revenge; however,
since Carly is on a path to healing and apparently on a plane after Jasper
Jax, the General Hospital writers have taken her venom and passed it along
like a growing virus to the women of General Hospital, young and old.
Alexis, although plagued
with some personal issues, is furiously working to keep Sam and Jason apart
under the shroud of ďprotecting her family.Ē Although it hasnít been too
blatant as yet, there is no doubt that the devious Cassadine trait will
emerge, and Alexis will see it her lifeís work to keep Sam and Jason apart
by any means necessary. She has already committed first-degree murder and
got away with it. Something that even Carly hasnít pulled off.
Lulu who seems the most
remorseful after her cross with treacherous plotting, now has to deal with a
pregnancy issue; however, there was no stopping her when she decided to get
what she wanted. Lulu was priceless and demonstrated her superior capability
to lie, convincingly, in the faces of her friends and family regardless of
the consequences as long she got what she wanted. She did get Dillon, for a
moment, after lying to him about seeing Georgie and Diego doing the deed.
Regardless, she may not be a master as yet because she didnít demonstrate
the refined talent of justifying her actions with twisted logic.
Sam does not really need
twisted logic to justify her actions when she is holding on to the oldest
and most potent reason of all, revenge. Oh donít be fooled by those pretty
brown eyes and small stature. Sam McCall is a sly one. One minute she is
seething with anger because of her motherís, Alexisí, interference and the
next minute, she is a sweet and mousy victim. In the face of her mother, Sam
is pliable and gullible and appreciative. In the face of Ric she is
understanding and requiring a shoulder to lean on as well as there to
provide one. In the aftermath of a Jason rejection tango, Sam is cunning,
conniving, and, most assuredly, plotting. Oh, better believe, Alexis will
The femme fatale in
training is none other than the Commissionerís daughter, whoís running
around scoring drugs to pimp out a police officer. Maxie Scorpio who was
given anotherís heart because, as it would seem, hers couldnít stand to beat
in her wretched body is the reigning Queen of Evil cloaked in a cute smile
and mini skirts. She is without remorse and calculating precision. Maxie at
a tender age of 19 has already put her time in the naughty corner; however,
graduating to the senior level was unavoidable. She manipulates and lies and
justifies her actions with the best of them. Where reason lacks, she just
makes something up. At this point, she is the epitome of an evil soap vixen
with an attitude.
The only thing good about Faith was her name. Like Carly everyone knew
that she was not to be trusted and always scheming. Faith made no pretenses
about who she was nor does Carly about who she is. However, there is a rash
of undercover she-devils on the loose. Alexis, Lulu, Sam, and Maxie will
definitely keep things interesting and sizzling regardless of the
temperature. So whether you are excited or disgusted, the vixens are staying
busy and keeping General Hospital on edge.
