A sorry Good bye to Justice Ward
General Hospital started with talk of Justice Wardís funeral. Notice
there was only talk of the funeral. It was a shameful way to say goodbye to
a character that had such a long standing history on the show. Maybe one
should be thankful that there was some type of memorial at all.
Nevertheless, a glimpse of the ceremony or a Justice clip montage would have
been a nice way to send him off. In retrospect his death seems without real
purpose. Manny didnít have to kill him to get his point across. Justice
could have been missing for a while, put in the same basement that where Sam
is being held, or maimed for life then miraculously cured. Justice was
probably the most expendable character on the program. His storyline with
Lainey was sweet but boring and he was hardly involved with his family. Even
still there was great potential in the history of the character. Justice
could have been involved in any one of the storylines progressing currently.
At least his death and off screen memorial were used as a segue into the
possibility of Lauraís return if what aired yesterday was set up as a
