Stalker Storyline Stale

I haven't enjoyed this Courtney-stalker storyline. However it turns out,
I'm not going to be happy.
One possibility is that Coleman is the stalker. Now, I know he's a sleazy
guy and he wasn't meant to be a long-term character. But, I like him! They
shouldn't get rid of him.
Another possibility is that the stalker is just some nobody that used to
go to Courtney's club. The whole stalker story was just a plot device to
throw her and Jason together. That is very lame and predictable, and it
lacks any punch at the end.
The third possibility is that A.J. is the stalker (or he's been paying
someone to be the stalker), so he can play the hero for Courtney. I know
A.J. is a bit screwed up, but this is way too sick, even for him. He is
supposed to genuinely love her and this is just not believable.
It seems that whatever the outcome, they are going to be pairing Jason and
Courtney. While I agree they have chemistry, I don't want them together. I
have been rooting for Courtney and A.J. for too long. I like how they
stood up to his family and he's been working a real manual labor job to
support them. It's a real old-fashioned love story (or, at least it was
before she started stripping-don't even get me started on how stupid that
It seems like the writers have not been using their head throughout the
storyline with A.J. and Courtney. They were supposedly broke. She was a
waitress (and later a stripper as well), and A.J. is driving a forklift.
So how do they afford a laptop? I mean, not just a pc but a laptop! Why
would a forklift-driver and a waitress even need a computer anyway? Since
they are living paycheck-to-paycheck, wouldn't they save their money for a
house or their future? We know A.J. is extravagant, but Courtney is frugal
and sensible. So seeing that laptop made no sense. I know, I know, it was
a plot device so that the stalker could show her that he had the place
wired with cameras. And soaps seem to use laptops over pc's because they
are smaller, more portable, and you don't have to show lots of wires and
other peripherals. But we all know that laptops are much more expensive
than PC's, and they wouldn't need a PC anyway. It was just stupid.
For that matter, how can A.J. afford to fly all the way to Washington DC
to fight for his money? Flying ain't cheap. I might believe his boss gave
him the time off for the court case (although, it seemed to last an
awfully long time, and in real life court cases can go on endlessly), but
how did he afford the tickets? And he has no credit cards, either.
Then, when A.J. returned home, he set up some sort of device to trace the
stalker's call. Those things are not cheap, either. And if he is the
stalker, that means he also had to find a place to sleep all those nights
he was supposed to be out of town, as well as paying off someone to
pretend to be the stalker (remember he wrestled with some guy while
Courtney was in the closet), and also all that "Daisy" stuff in the
apartment across the street AND the apartment across the street!
The writers definitely need to fix this storyline and rescue this couple
(and not put Jason and Courtney together because that would be BORING!).
