Description of Lisa's attendance of the 2004 Daytime Emmys

I got to Radio City Music Hall around 6:30.  The actors started walking on the red carpet at 7pm.  They moved quite fast and did not stop for more than a few seconds for pictures-not many GHers there but do have a few pictures.
Could not see everyone as I had to be in the theater by 8:30.  My tickets for my daughter and myself, were on the left side of the theater where the actors arrive.  There was a mob of fans there watching as the actors arrived.  I could not see how I could get inside the theater since it was blocked by so many people.  I found out that there was an usher checking tickets and if we needed to get through-we did.  And we went inside the theater in amongst all the actors.
They have gold tickets.  The stage was magnificent in red with a giant version of the Emmy. During the commercial, you can see the actors get up and walk around.  I saw Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH), James and Kassie DePaiva (Max and Blair, OLTL), Anthony Geary (Luke, GH) (he won best actor), Timothy Stickney (R.J., OLTL), Robert S. Woods (Bo, OLTL), Hillary B. Smith (Nora, OLTL), Ty Treadway (Troy, OLTL), and Lisa Rinna (Billie, Days).   I am only familiar with the ABC actors. Whenever the commercial was close to ending, they would flash big spotlights to cue us to return to our seats.  When it was over, we left, again mingling with the stars and we exited the doors where there was a mob of fans waiting to see who is coming out.
It was fun sitting on that side of the room.
