Your browser may not support display of this image. It is true what they say about "the apple does not fall far from the tree". When you are born with DiMera blood, there is no escaping the curse. That is exactly what the good old Lexie learned about herself.

Lexie is married to Abe and both are good citizens of Salem but that doesnít mean that trouble canít find your path.

Lexie was a police officer, though that was not her dream. Her dream was to become a doctor, although she didnít act on this until later.

Lexie truly loved Abe but an obstacle came her way when Jonah, Abe's brother, came to Salem. Slowly, Lexie developed feelings for Jonah, but her love for Abe was stronger. Lexie learned that Jonah was the Pacifier who tried to rid Salem of crime. When the police were close to catching Jonah, Lexie admitted that she was the Pacifier. Taking the blame showed how deeply she did care for Jonah.

Lexie left the police force and, I guess, this was a good time for her to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She knew this was not going to be an easy task.

Lexie found out that the person who brought her up was not her real mother. Later on she found out that Celeste was her mother. Lexie, being the good girl as always, found it in her heart to let her mother in. Her quest for the truth did not end there. She also wanted to find out who her father was. Her mother was of no help to her.

It was a shock to her when she found out that the man whom everybody just loved to hate and who was responsible for the suffering of her friends was her father. Lexie has a good heart and always sees the good in other people, even in her father Stefano. Slowly, she started to include him in her life, and no matter what people said, she did not care; he was her father. Abe gave her all the love she needed, but no one can replace the love of a parent.

Lexie was torn apart by her struggle to get the one thing that was missing from her life, a baby. It was the happiest day of her life when she adopted Isaac but it was also going to be the most stressful time, as well. As a result, the beloved Lexie started to change her good ways. There is nothing stronger than the bond between mother and child and nothing and no-one was going to interfere. Lexie had wanted this for so long she was even prepared to leave Abe. This showed us how much she cared about the child.

Things got worse when the child's biological father Glen showed up and demanded a DNA test. Lexie would do anything, so taking advantage of her friendship to Brandon, she asked him to swap the DNA.

Although Lexie is exploring her wicked ways, we see that she still cares for the people around her. We see this when she asks Ralph to change Hope back into Gina. She asks him not to hurt Hope. Lexie's trouble did not stop there: Barb returned and blackmailed Lexie.

Lexie's worst nightmare came true when the truth about the paternity of her child came to light, and Bo and Hope filed for custody of Isaac as their son.

Lexie grew closer to Brandon and they slept together. Finally, Lexie fell pregnant. This time, nobody could take the child away from her, but the question is: who's the daddy?

However, once again Lexie's love for Abe pulled them through. One could see that when Abe was killed by the Salem Killer, a part of Lexie was killed too.

Lexie is a good person, and when she does scheme, she does it to protect her family, because family means the world to her. Blood is thicker than water even if it is DiMera blood running through your veins.
