Jennifer: So how do you explain, then, what I saw when I showed up tonight, Chloe?

Chloe: It was a misunderstanding. I tried to tell you, but you just took off.

Jennifer: Oh, did you want me to come into the room so we could have tea together so you could explain?

Chloe: I was trying to tell you that nothing happened. I went there to give Daniel his hospital badge. He left it at the apartment. But when I showed up, he was drunk and angry about something, so I left. But when I was driving home, I realized I left my cell phone there, so I went back, and the door was open a little bit, so I just peeked in. He was passed out, so I snuck in, grabbed my cell phone. And as I was leaving, that's when you showed up. So that was it. It's all innocent.

Jennifer: Right. There is nothing innocent about you, Chloe, so why don't you cut the crap and tell me what this little confession is all about?
