EJ: Somehow, Kristen, I doubt you're the answer to my prayers. So as amusing as this is, I'm afraid I have work to do.

Kristen: You're my little bro.

EJ: That's a technicality and therefore entirely meaningless to me, so you'll excuse me for not being profoundly moved.

Rafe: I know that look. You're angry, and you're hurt.

Sami: Wow. You should be a detective.

Kristen: But, you know, the Sami that I knew, back in the day, she was a piece of work. She kidnapped her own sister. Now that was a real showstopper.

EJ: I don't think we need to dredge up the past, do you?

Kristen: As I said, I would never judge you. The heart wants what the heart wants.

EJ: May I quote you on that?

Kristen: I'm just wondering what you have planned, now that you have him right where you want him.

EJ: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Kristen: Do I really have to spell it out for you, EJ? Okay. I, uh--I left here. I did a little investigating, after we spoke about you losing your child.

EJ: You mean you were sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong.

Abigail: But you do. Chad, he's your dad.

Chad: Well, when he died-- I mean when we all...thought he died, I guess I just got-- these--these feelings came up for him.

Abigail: Oh, no. Feelings.

Kristen: Maybe the more important question is... what's to be gained by not being vindictive? Smart! That is so smart, EJ.

EJ: I don't know what you're talking about.

Kristen: Well, if you could play the role of the grieving father who's big enough to be magnanimous in the face of his loss, Sami is going to be so impressed by that. You see? Hello. I understand you. We are cut from the same DiMera cloth, clearly.

EJ: I wouldn't say that, if I were you.

EJ: Okay, okay. So what do you propose that I do?

Kristen: Nothing. I'll take care of Sami.

EJ: Really. That's wonderful. I don't know why I didn't think of that. That's a splendid idea.

Kristen: And then you'll realize what an asset I am to you.

EJ: Yes, well, I'm sure you would be, uh, extraordinarily helpful, were it not for the fact, that you did unspeakably cruel things to her mother. I can't imagine Samantha would ever want to meet you, let alone sit down for a cozy tête-à-tête.

Sami: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm-- you stay right there! You are not coming into my apartment. I am calling the police. Get you out of--

Kristen: No. No. Those 911 operators are so overworked. Let's give 'em a break, okay?

Sami: Really, I don't understand how you have the nerve to show your face in this town after the Hell that you rained down on my mother and everyone else in Salem.

Kristen: Well, hello pot. It's me, kettle.

Sami: Hilarious. Lady, I don't bat in your league.

Sami: Okay, well, clearly you're still crazy as ever, so I'm gonna call the police, because I have to get back to work. I have a company to run.

Kristen: Barely. I went over the financials for Countess Wilhelmina. Quite predictably, you've run it straight into the ground.
